| 5 Mar 2001 | Talencia | Monica, I like this one quite a bit. (I've always loved blues!) And I agree that it probably DOES look better on paper. (Don't you hate it when that happens?) I imagine it looks fantastic in reality. As to the wings... well, I have just one thought. If they are transparent, wouldn't the tail be easier to see when not behind them, instead of harder? I do think its lovely, though! Monica A. Caples replies: "Hrrm... well, that's true about the tail. The wings are supposed to be translucent, not transparent, though. I think I meant the part that's not behind the wing to be thought farther away... so... err... oops! But I'm glad to hear you like it!!" | |
| 17 Feb 2002 | Pat | This is a really cool pic but you could have done a lot more on it Monica A. Caples replies: "Coulda, probably... but sometimes I'm a fan of simplicity." | |

Caples replies: "I love blue, and prismacolors are awesome. Translucence is kind of hard to accomplish with pencils... Thanks for noticing!!" | |
| 20 Sep 2002 | Grym | I've been looking around for some nice dragons and this seems to be one of the better ones. Great job with the translucent wings, it came out awesome! Monica A. Caples replies: "Thank you! " | |
