SciFi and Fantasy Art: Barbarian

This is a really old picture, but it is the basically the prototype for Hrothulf. Back before he was called Hrothulf and went by the name of 'Thunk.' I originally drew this to enter into a contest that Wizard Magazine was running, I took too long coloring the picture and missed the deadline, so I kept it. A year or so later I found this picture when I was trying to come up with an idea for a D&D character and, after a little tweaking, Hrothulf was born.

I'm involved with some projects in need of art, and the range of style shown between this and the realistic pictures is admirable. I will definitely bookmark your galleries
