SciFi and Fantasy Art: Glissa Ombeck

My first attempt at a female dwarf. Glissa here was Tonkin's betrothed but disappeared after their people's stronghold was overrun by orcs. One of Tonkin's quests is to find out whether she is dead or alive. The outcome is unknown since I am still playing Tonkin Firebeard in our campaign.

The work of yours that I have seen thus far is great and this one is no exception. I did notice however that for a female dwarf she seems to lack a bit of, er, "stockiness" in her chestal area. Very nicely drawn though, I especially like the proud pose.

I love the hair! You are very good at drawing clothes, the shirt she is wearing is very well done.

This one doesn“t look the way that female dwarfs look in my head. This one is so MUCH more good-looking!!! I always think of them with beard and stuff, yuck!
From now on, thanx to you, I think I“ll be able to imagine females of the short ones!
It“s really GOOD!!!!

Possibly the only picture I've ever seen of a female dwarf... wonderfully done, I love that you managed to make her look feminine, and yet still very dwarvish.
