SciFi and Fantasy Art: Hrothulf close-up

Here's Hrothulf at 21st level and the end of our campaign. The guy was pretty much unstoppable by this point with a 25 Strength and Constitution and around 500 hit points. The big tattoo on his face replaces the small one in the original picture, which was actually a coward mark given to him by his tribe before he was cast out. This pictures not exactly finished, I still need to ink in the tattoos on his chest.

The dwarves I see on or in books and magazines are lacking when compared to the ones in your gallery. Awesome work! One thing about your “Hrothulf” character, I was thinking about playing a Dwarven barbarian, and had his background thought out. When I searched online and found your pictures, and read your descriptions of “Hrothulf” I realized I had imagined virtually the same story. The evil clan, the tattoos, and his banishment: exactly alike. I think he’ll be an extremely fun character to RP and I hope you don’t mind if I use your pictures as inspiration for my character’s description. P.S. Good luck on getting your Art & Graphic Design degree. You definitely have the skills that it takes to be one of fantasy’s best artists!
30 Oct 2003	Phillip Williams	Loading... Hmm, I love this. Kind of like sunflower seeds, only without the pain of removing the shell. The facial hair is incredible. and so is the chest hair. I don't know exactly what it is about this picture but it's amazing. Good, very good.
