This is really lovely. Would have been nice to see it coloured, I spose, but a sketch it shall remain I guess. The angel is great but somethings up with the... the ... the... What exactly would we call the other thing? Demon? Devil? I'm an athiest and I really don't understand these terms. But anyway, I'm not here to blather on about my ignorance, am I ? nope. I just adore the walking woman, her face is so serene and peaceful despite the conflict around her. And she's looking straight ahead, confident. Cool. Very cool.

Even though this is was done on a regular piece of note book paper, I LOVE this concept of life. Very simple and uniqe and very very true... I see that many people have comented on it.I would love to see this redone. wonderful.

I really respect you for posting something that could potentially attract a lot of skepticism. I am always personally touched when I see a Christian-themed work here. I think the message you convey is a very succinct one: God is the only thing holding us up. It reminds me of the anonymous poem "Footsteps." I'm not sure I know this poem, but I may have heard about it... I don't think one needs to be too brave to put something like that up. I know there are people out there who tend to hate anything Christian-related and it often makes me wonder what makes them competent to make such final judgement on 2000 years of religious history and experience. I have great reservations about the humanistic/materealist approach, but I would prefer to avoid passing any final conclusions on it before I had read all the main 'enlightenment' writers and had studied the history and culture of the time it was formed.Anyway, it's just a picture. <

I really like how the angel isn't actually touching her; it's just ready in case she stumbles. It's entirely up to the girl; her faith could completely shatter and then the angel would help, but so far she seems to be ok.
