SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lost and Won

... when the other herd members found her, the fight was over and with that the threat to their little community.  The Medusa's head lay in a short distance from its body  and the snakes had eventually gone limp. But  Kassandra was beyond rescue, frozen in this very last moment when she had severed the ghastly  creature's neck...

I started to do the armor and had fun to play with metallic effects by adding black ink to the pencil work, then the idea of a female centaur came up...
