SciFi and Fantasy Art: Winter Lines

Yes, another linework picture! I seem to be developping some sort of style with these, God help us. Well, I like them, even if they don't have pretty colors! I very nearly called this slighlty surreal winter scene 'All Is Calm', but I decided not to, since that's probably just the incredible amount of Christmas music I've heard lately talking. Maybe someday it'll be a watercolor, but judging from the results of my last attempt at painting, I wouldn't count on it. Besides, lines are good too. Liney lines...

These line pictures are very cool, although not color, they still rock. I must say that I like this the best of the line pictures. I like the dog thing, it reminds me of some of your really old stuff (All Dogs Go To Heaven fan work perhaps?) Sorry, I had to bring it up. ^_^

Very Nice "Liney Lines" even. Chiristmas Music inspired? Very Cool... It actually reminds me of Some Art work from some Dr. Suess Story Books *sompin about that tail*. Except it's way more complex. (I'm probably thinking along the x-mas--> Grinch who stole... --> Dr. Suess thought line. NOT suposed to be an insult! Besides Dr. Suess is awesome. 2 ~waves~

I think you mean; Aten help us; stars remind me of the ones in Van Gogh's "Starry Night" pictures - steller...

Oi oi! Thanks Paula, you got it! I was actually kind of vaguely thinking of that picture when I drew this -I love how Van Gogh made the sky (usually all flat and boring)look so full of motion, though this is more wavy than turbulent. And like Kelly said, I was also thinking a bit of All Dogs Go To Heaven for the foreground creature. What a combination! But I'll be sure to mention the glory of the Aten in my next description, really I will! Heh heh... ^_^

I've gotta agree about being reminded of Dr. Seuss. Also, this picture reminds me of some I've seen that are made up entirely of words. Maybe you could do something like that some time.
