SciFi and Fantasy Art: Picture steps: Step three

Here is the final color. I usually go layer by layer and this time I went for that same block shading you find in anime. This finished out at 43 layers in Photoshop. I actually didn't use any filter except the red on the body. The rest was done by hand.

Wow I love the color! just one question . . . k im not a fan of photoshop <mostlyfor the fact that everytime i open it it freezes, but my goodness how many layers??? THat mustof taken forever!>
