A security guard working for a large corporation is about to have one real bad day.
This is another story I wrote a few years ago. It's not very well-written, but I still like it. I hope to add a prelude and epilogue and a full description and history of the aliens.
This is my first story on Elfwood about one of my two favorite races, the calerre. Take a wacked-out Discordian Taoist Zen lunatic, take away his fear and any concern he has for the opinions of others, then give him a dragon's head and wings, make him immortal, and you have a calerre. They've been with me since college, and I love them with all my heart. This particularly story concerns a calerre who'd just come to the planet of Gideon. It's a great start. The problem is, I had no idea where to go with it for the longest time. Suggestions are deeply appreciated.
This is the beginning of the end of something that is currently in the middle of the beginning of its own end...confused? I sure hope so. Newayz ya I'm doing these parts in short little things because this is still being editied. Have fun reading :D
Bryce is now telling the whole thing. This time the setting is a couple years down the road and everything has happened and everyone is just doing their job.
I quite like the concept, but I doubt I'll ever finish it. It's vaguely about magic being a natural resource and running out... I think it's set on another planet, but I know not.
If you want to know why I call it that . . . well, I wrote this for a friend; here's the piccie she drew . . . Coffee . . .
In the grand tradition of 'The Project' this was my entry for #7. Thanks for creating this Jim! Here is the link to Jim's shelf where he gives permission to use his 'seed' for the story (everthing before the first set of *****).
follow on from last hope Ok i know its supost to be after Last Hope but some how they got mixed around when i was uploading them i still dot know whether it was me or elfwood (i think it was me :o))
Trish's reward for nabbing my 100th comment. Unfortunately she is no longer part of Elfwood so that link is broken. Old storyThis is actually a dream I had, and writing it was my attempt to be deep. In retrospect, I failed dismally. I think it has some untapped potential, which I would like to think I'll get around to tapping sometime in the future but for now it's not in the cards. DescriptionIn the future aliens take over the world and some people aren't very happy about that.
My installment for Project 7. Colaborative effort with Jim Bowers. Thanks Jim!! A little different than most I think... Let me know what you think. Enjoy.
The future is a vast place full of things both beautiful and and horrible. For Aelin Stephens and the rest of the crew of the Icarus the universe is neither beautiful or horrible but rather pure and utter boredom. After weeks spent in flight to the paradise planet Miridian there about to stumble on a mystery that will change the course of history. A lone security guard and a stowaway teenage girl with the ability to turn invisible will have to join forces with an ancient alien race known as the Elundi in order save the universe from the greatest threat it has ever faced. Humanity.
^_^;! Sorry! I almost always start my stories in the middle! It's not very good, I know, but please read and tell me what you think! I really want some construtive crit!
The prologue to Galaxy Wanderer: Decapitation! I wrote it at about 2 am!! XD!
This is how my first attempt at fantasy fiction, later named 'Chasing Shadows' started out - a mental image I couldn't draw, inspired by the song 'Temperentia' by Lesiem. To keep better track of the whole thing, I've now separated it into chapters...or rather, a prologue and one chapter
Maeko & Harrison are abducted by a strange woman from another dimension. The rest of the group finds a mysterious grouping of smokestacks.
The xenoarchaeologists of the good ship Daedalus are in trouble. Their funding body wants more papers and results look to be a long way away. Plus, they're hauling a sulky college student who doesn't want to be there and won't pull his weight. The discovery of an alien vessel near them galvanises them into action, but one more aging hulk does not a paper make. Is that all it is?
