A poem that i did about the world's end. This is (i guess) how i pictured what will happen. I hope you like it!
Miles, the main character, is in the army camp outside Guardian Pass. The army has assembled to defend the upcoming threat.
Another school assignment, this story was meant to be a one page dialogue story but i managed to turn it into an excerpt of a larger story. I haven't written the rest of the story at the moment but i plan to. Once i do, you can look forward to seeing it on here. For now, you can enjoy this tidbit, a verbal clash between two of the main characters, Shram and Mialo.
This is a anthropomorphic science fiction novel I wrote between 1987 and 1992. It was submited for publication but was declined due to a 'soft market.' Ariake Arakya finds himself suddenly transferred to the regular navy after having commanded fast, long-range scoutships for many years. But his new command is rife with personal problems and troubles beset him from the outset. He must overcome the reluctance of others in the face of a coming war and ultimately lead his starship into murderous combat. World War II's Guadalcanal naval campaign was one of the historical inspirations for this story. The characters are all horse people.
This is the Introduction to the ongoing Saga of Eltorin
This is a strange snippet of story that I wrote late one night when my muse woke screaming from a long nap. There's more to come, but I only have a vague idea of it.
Part 2 of the eciting story featuring Mikhail and crew. Stay tooned next week for the exciting conclusion. The story's are lables A, B, C ect. so that there in order on the scoll.
this is the third chapter to Loruiel and Rowg's quest to find justice
This began as my final project for creative writing class, but it will, hopefully, evolve into much more.
Ugh. I hate exposition, but it had to come in somewhere. Oh yeah, and I take it back, because I forgot about this particular subplot . . . it's part 4 that's really long, and this is the last part for a long stretch in a flashback-free zone. By the way, if you think Melar's a sexist pig, that's perfectly okay, he is. Just because he's a secondary protagonist doesn't mean he's completely likable. ^_-
With Bacht and the Saints of Battle destroyed, the Herald takes command of the Sacred Campaign and leads it deep into the heart of the Ahnnish Empire, burning as he goes.
Now, I know this looks very long, but even if you don't read the entire thing, I'd appreciate some comments. This the first chapter of a new idea I've had for a novel, and I'd really like to know what people think. I've got put up a hasty map, but it still incomplete in some places. So please leave some comments and tell me where to imrove. The idea for the story is basically like a medieval version of the Cold War, where two huge empires are engaged in a struggle for world domination, but both fear what will happen if they ever come to open war. So their battles are fought with pawns and innocents are caught in between.
A once peaceful planet ruled by an evil spiritual force, a slave race wants their freedom and there is only one way to take back the planet that was rightfully theirs...to follow one man on his quest to become one with a secret flame that burns within his very soul and gives him the power to fight the darkness! (Very sci-fi :-))
A time of transition has come upon us--more importantly for Eyris and Rune and all those whose company they partake of regularly. What does that mean? I guess you'll have to read to find out... For updates on publication and distribution, please visit: balladofthemoon.blogspot.com/ UPDATE: ~This book is now up for sale in its entirety at https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/126941 All comments are welcome... Especially the good kind. :) Happy Reading! Latest revision: 12/13/11
If you've read 'Calling All Heroes', you may have wondered where things went from there. Well... buckle up because this might be a long ride. The map is one I created and extracted from a larger fractal image. I'm still not happy with the fonts, but you get the idea. The software I used is from http://www.profantasy.com. And yes, I've changed the name from The Dead War to something.... snazzier.
When a plague threatens Kingsland and the Greylands, both sides will do anything for the cure. That cure is locked in the blood of a young girl, the only creature to survive the plague yet. The side that gets to her first will win the war...
Warning: Slight gore! Welcome to my new story! It's about time I wrote something new :3 This was inspired by a book called Eragon by Christopher Paolini (brilliant book! go read!) and just by looking outside my window one cold winter's night. I hope to write a lot more on this soon. This could couple as a short story or a novel, but I'm not sure of Nathal's story yet...so enjoy!
