Sinner's Song Prelude: Calling the She-Demon

Crystal´-una´ Rodriguez

Still the Prelude, still much the same. It's the introduction to the madness.

The Game 3D1

Jessica Cannon

Six Months In A Leaky Boat: Our brave adventurers venture for more adventure in their private world, chasing pirates and eating Kraken on a mission for the Khan? Will they catch the slavers, or will efficient law men beat them to the punch again? No matter, for they've been paid already! Will anyone find out what sequestered mean, and when they do will they hit Sam and Amber, or laugh at them, spilling liquid through their nose? Another riviting tale of magic and sourcery, and rainbow chunders! Have I been watching too many episodes of Samurai Pizza Cats?

The Bard's Warning

Victoria Imperiatrix' Massey

Don't get me wrong -- this is not a warning against all fey -- this is directed at those of the Unseelie Court, the faeries that lure men to their halls and keep them there for what seems a few days, but when released upon the earth 7 years has past, or 70 . . . They are the fey that captured Thomas the Rhymer and gave to him his mixed blessing . . . This poem just sort of sprung to mind, half-fledged and wrote itself, almost up to the end.

Unforgiven

Isabelle L Davis

After battling the evil harpy queen, the Daemonslayers make an overnight stopoff that soon turns to disaster when it transpires the cantankerous cursed dragon Blackjack has not been entirely straight with his lycanthrope companions Shade and Soul. A tale of secrets, alcohol and unsavoury characters.

Ian's Fate

Nikos Mouchtaris

A young bard finds it hard to continue sing for life, joy and happiness when even he does not possess those two in his life.

Bardagh

Krista Loy

This is a poem dealing with the ideologies of the ancient Celtic religion of Druidism. It surrounds the practices and ideas of the Gaelic peoples who first settled the mystical shores of Ireland. It is based mostly upon the life of Amergin the bard when he and the sons of Mil came to that enchanted isle. The ending lines blend both ancient and modern times in, how we as writers and creators of both tales and songs must continue to carry on the legacy set down by these bardic peoples so that the myths, histories and folklores of our cultures are not forgotten.

Windsinger, part 3

Rachel Armstrong

Finally finished it! Yay! I know it's long, but I couldn't find a good place to split it up. C'est la vie. Btw, I know Ariana's 'everyone is rich but me' angst is going to get really old really fast, so don't worry. It's not going to be nearly as heavy after this chapter.

The Stone

Regan 'D_V' Schroeder

This one might require a bit of explanation. You see, quite a few years ago, I was involved in a Roleplay Group (Our unofficial moniker was ‘The 20-siders club’). It was back in high school, and we’d meet after school in the cafeteria/commons and get together and RP. Usually D&D, but sometimes other stuff like Top Secret or Star Wars or Paranoia….(whatever caught our fancy). This story is based (albeit extremely loosely) on a D&D adventure that we had. There was this one guy who played with us…and he had this really annoying Bard… And, well – we developed a new and unusual use for Bards! (Oh, and I mean no disrespect towards Bards… Personally, I have a major soft spot for Bards … Particularly blond, elven ones… *winks*)

Kaziah Part Six

Elvish in this section is marked with an asterisk and translated at the bottom of the page. There is much more dialogue in that language than I show here, but I accidentally left my notes in California and they are yet to be mailed to me. For the curious, Elvish is a completely functioning language with its own grammar structure and 35-letter alphabet. See illustration for an example of calligraphy (and don’t even ask how I came by it- getting into Faerie was hard enough- explaining to an elf exactly why I wanted a calligraphy sample was harder). (PS- sorry for the broken illustration . . . maybe the elves are cursing me).

The Burning Kingdom: Chapter One

Daniel Ramos

An exiled noble, a girl who proclaims hope, and a mysterious rogue, all find themselves within the flow of darkness that has engulfed a kingdom for generations.

The World is an Orange

Kate Conaway

This is the first couple of pages on a story I'm writing. I welcome comments as long as they are not hateful. If anyone has suggestions on a title, I'd welcome them as I'm not satisfied with my current one.

The Game 3D2

Jessica Cannon

Sing a Song of Sixpence: On blessed, beautiful land at last, our heroes decide to divide and conquer. Who will find out that vital key of information leading to the pirates? Will it be Amber and Sam using their glamour and camoflague, or will they get 'lost' and end up in Robes&Robes? Will Eric's brooding solve the case? Will there be any pirate with gold teeth, a drunken swagger and bearing a close affinity to ykw from a very popular movie? Will Richard ever get laid? Find out more - but quite possibly not in this new installment of... The Game (Dum de dum dum. Dum dum!)
