chapter 9

Opal Parkison

This is another one that was removed for a while because I had been thinking about publishing my story... never mind that. The Children are taken to the house of Lebri and Feriluc before their journey continues. Aivren remembers some bad memories. This is a fairly short chapter.

Into The Storm

Samuel Morgan

The second Darkest day in Sams life. The Day he killed his only enemy.

My Brother's Curse (part 2)

Brandi Kellar

This is part i promised...sorry it took so long to get up here..i have been busy

Father of Seven Days

Crystal Tomaino

This is the prologue to the story I'm working on about the land of Tyrga.

Chapter 1 of Tools of Man

David Mountney

This is the first chapter of my story. I won't deal a lot with magic until about the third chapter so please be patient. I'll try to get the next two chapters up in the next couple of weeks. For the dictionary for this story go to:

The Danaids

Meredith Patterson

Shing Khor's artwork introduced me to a Greek myth I hadn't heard of before: the story of the Danaids, forty-nine sisters who killed their husbands and were sentenced to an eternity in hell. Her picture got me to thinking about how they might feel after all this time, and this sonnet was the result.

Chapter 6 Tree of Souls

Steve Serna

The life and death of a brother is one thing, but for that brother to come back for revenge is another

John's Demon Brothers

Christopher Sillett

This is a story I wrote a few years back when I was at uni in a class for writing for young adults and children.  I got a distinction for it, which is the best I have gotten for any other thing that I wrote at uni.  The story is about the older brother of two twin boys on Hallaween in Australia.  We don't really celebrate it too much here, so details may not be one hundred percent correct.  Anyway, I hope you enjoy.  Also, check out my artwork elfwood page too.

The three crows of good fortune: Part 2

Emma Stephenson

The second part of my serial story. A lull betwen one and three, which is where stuff actaully happens

Brother's Quest Part 2 (Macidermdale)Chapter 1

Chris Poole

Here's More To The First. It won't make sense unless youve read the Part One.

Darin Barnes

Brothers enjoying the life of theives encounter a mage.

Battlefield Ghosts

Anna Rammon

This poem is one that has been loved by all the people who visited my lonely gallery - I wrote it with the picture I was drawing in mind. Once the new version's done, I'll put it up here as an illustration.

Some Things Change

E. Greene

In a world filled with magic, nothing is guaranteed to stay the same. The title of this little one-shot - and the story itself - is something of a alternate ending of a set of short stories I scrapped a few years ago. One of the constants of their relationship is that Nanashi will ALWAYS take care of Sennin. Naturally, a perverse little corner of my mind spoke up and asked, 'What if that changed?'

Unrequited Chapter Three

Jym Greenfield

Strange story about two brothers unaware of each others existance, and about a mysterious woman who hunts them both.

Unrequited Chapter Seven

Jym Greenfield

Umm...the seventh installment.

Unrequited Chapter Six

Jym Greenfield

Aaaand the six chapter of Unrequited!

Third Realm

Kelsi Dick

Gods, goddesses, demons, mortals. Effectively having a ball and driving each other nuts. It may only be funny to me, but that's good enough I think.

C. Seidel

This is a working title, don't make fun of it! Twin brothers have a relaxing time at the hotpools...or do they? Dun dun dun!! First part, more comes later, I promise!

Eat the Whole Bowl

Rochelle Watts

I tried sleeping one night and for some reason this one grabbed on to me and would not let go until I wrote it out. It has a lot of nice folktale qualities, brothers, the cat, and an old woman by the side of the road.

Brotherly Love

Joanna Piancastelli

I wanted to write a piece that gave snapshots through time to show the relationship between my two favourite brothers, but I chose to end it a long time before they settled into the positions that they would remain in for the rest of their lives. The result is a story that is, in my opinion, more powerful but not an accurate representation of the relationship I was originally trying to portray. Oh well. ;) The apparently random tense change was intentional, anything else that's odd is probably a mistake. The placenames are still being worked, so bear with me in the real world names. C&C much appreciated!
