Lady Marin's Story

Emilie Finn

This story introduces a new set of characters from a coastal village in a country to the far west of Lauralia. I call it my Louisa May Alcott story, because it's written very much in a 19th century style. Part two is in my Other Works section. (Don't ask me why this one qualifies as fantasy and part two doesn't...)

B&L Section 1

Jamie Fuller

This is a previous version of my 'Blood and Lies' story. It reads a little differently than the pieces of the revised copy I've already posted, but it's the only story I've ever actually completed so I wanted to post it. This story is on about it's 8th rewrite so all comments welcome!

B&L Section 2

Jamie Fuller

This is a previous version of my 'Blood and Lies' story. It reads a little differently than the pieces of the revised copy I've already posted, but it's the only story I've ever actually completed so I wanted to post it. This story is on about it's 8th rewrite so all comments welcome!

Sovaresti Q'ilesta

Brittany McDuffie

The empire of Sovaresti Q'ilesta is torn apart by traitors and monsters.

Chapter Nine: Of Love, Journies, and Kings

Mandi Embree

Chapter nine is finally here after two months of toiling with my writing muse! ^__^ *dances in glee* Gaia shares her thoughts on love, Simnal continues on his Journey from the Shadow Lands, and Talyn returns to Mora...

Once Upon A Time Mission

Sandra Wheeler

A quick, easy read about how difficult it is to be a fairy godmother.

No World For Tomorrow

Christopher Wilson

This was inspired partly by the movie "Gamer", partly by my frustration one night at msn's inefficiency to convey sarcasm. This is a future world where everything is according to logic and reason and numbers, a tainted shadow of 'real' life. I made fun of quite a lot, and had so much fun writing it ! ! !Enjoy :)

The Enchanted Forest

Sarah Bradford

This is just a short story I wrote and thought I would upload it. I wrote it for English and my teacher really liked it so I thought I would put it on here and see what other people think.

Chapter Five: Presentiments

Yikes! 'Tis a foul wind in the air, by god...  What does this mean for our comrades yonder? We must read to find out--after all, without the breeze, how would drama ensue? For updates on publication and distribution, please visit: balladofthemoon.blogspot.com/  UPDATE: ~This book is now up for sale in its entirety at https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/126941 All comments are welcome...  Especially the good kind.  :) ~Happy Reading! Latest revision: 12/13/11

Inside My Labyrinth

Carrie Ott

I finally decided to write something kind of cryptic - you could take this at face value, but there's a hidden understanding placed underneath this story. It's helpful if you know the story of King Minos (NOT Midas, the guy who turned things to gold. Minos is different). I enjoyed writing this, even though it only took a few minutes. I think it's a unique look into an old story. Roles reversed? The unfortunate...thing...left alone with only his own thoughts to keep him company. A single voice that hearkens to him; the only words to ever fill his ears reveal a bewildering truth. Do you know what he is?

Fool's Bounty Chapter 3: The Captain

Serena Loder

In the third chapter, Raum gets to know the pirates he's gotten himself caught up with, learns of his duties, and starts getting some information on this mysterious treasure that they're seeking. He's not exactly the best team player, but in this situation, he doesn't really have a choice.

The Banshee

Melissa Canaway

Just a short (ish) poem I wrote a while back...hope ya'all enjoy.

Contemplation (by Jill O Connell)

Jill O Connell

Brian Carpenter

Just a short story I made up, if ya think I should make more of it, leave me a comment or two :)

Ch Two - Forgotten Royalty

Eogthea

My second chapter! I know there doesn't seem to have much of a fantasy element yet, but it is coming!
