The Chosen (part one)

Bethan Jones

Have i started the story in the middle? Inevitably yes! This isn't really a serious story its just a bit of fun that i've been writing with my friends. The basic idea is that the six of us are genetic creations with super powers and that we are fighting against the organisation that created us in order to stay alive and stop any other experiments. Other than that there isnt really much of a back story, so just enjoy it!!!

The Chosen (part two)

Bethan Jones

Yes i could just copy and paste what i wrote for part one but i'm not going to, so you'll just have to read that part first to find out what on earth is going on ;) Or if your like me you could just go with the flow and leave a nice comment even if you didnt understand any of it :D

Lazy Days

E. Hanna

I don't know what to tell you. I guess this is a sort of alternate reality. The story is to immense for me to see it all, so I've only been able to write a tiny chunk. Hope you enjoy it.

The Balance - Beginning

Hitesh Juneja

This, along with chapter one, is a very rough draft with some parts that sound really stupid. I'll make some changes later, but the main story will stay the same. Any comments and suggestions are welcome. *The characters Meith, Nark and their worlds in general were created (with little help from me) by Anupam Arunachalam. The progress of the story is a combined effort however.

Judgement Day

Rachel Karp

This one was inspired by a dream. Don't ask. I have odd dreams. I like it, so why don't you comment and tell me what you like/hate about it, so I can change it? Thanks.

The Modern Ledgend (CH1)

Victoria Bellamy

This is a story I made up on the spot and I probably wpn't finish it cause I hardly ever finish long stories. But we'll see.

"Dragon Sight," Chapter 2

New Story: Cost

Micah English

"Cost" is a story that begins where most novels end; the bad guy is dead on the floor, the prophecies of Light overcoming Darkness have been fulfilled, and the hero and heroine care deeply for one another. But it turns out that the forces of good aren't so good, that bad guy wasn't so bad, and that the hero isn't as selfless as he's supposed to be...Stand-alone work, for the time being. And, get this, it's significantly shorter than most of my stories end up being. Submitted for a workshop for class, and I was crushed when it ended up growing to be too long for the word count limit. I was so sure I'd finally get to submit a full work instead of a fragment... but these things take on a life of their own sometimes.

Moonsong: Chapter 1

Together with her companions; a former royal knight, a slightly less than orthodox priestess and an exiled elf lord, she must set out to unlock the secrets of her heritage and use her gifts to defeat a malicious entity that wants nothing more than the end of everything.

Esteliel's story

Maria Grenlund

This is a story I'm working on. Or, have been working on... I've had a break for about three years, but I now intend to continue writing it. This is, as I said, the beginning, so if you have any ideas of what may happen(although I have the main story ready in my head) feel free to tell me. And, yes, I know this is very Tolkien inspired (I do not claim that I'm the smallest bit near of writing like the master, only that this may look like an imitation or fan fic, but it's not). At the time when I began this story the content in my head was all Tolkien... So it naturally has coloured a bit of the story. But I hope that you'll see that this is a story of my own, when I write more of it.

The Key to the City - Chapter 3

Pamela Lehmann

Cardea's father is from the 25th Century. Her mother is from the 2nd century. Cardea lives with her father, in a time of AIs, drugs, and law-breaking teens, of which she is one, but sometimes wishes she could live in her mother's much simpler time. Then something happens that questions everything Cardea previously thought, and she is forced to change. (Based on the sentence 'You are my Chosen', given to me by a friend. The first of a long list of 'Quote Stories'.)

Ravenspeed: Prologue - The Windstorm

Jade Bailey

an introduction to my novel, written mostly last september and finished off earlier this year. hmm. i'm not too fond of this, but it's all i've got for the moment, and i always have massive problems with introductions anyway. the setting is a bit odd; the world is our own, the time is the very late 14th century, yet the island of raegovanda is entirely fictional. might be a bit hard to follow; see what you can work out...

Whispers of the Chosen

Heather Bryan

This is a story that I'm working on for a project that I'm trying to put together for a story-ring writing group. If I've peaked your interest, drop me an e-mail or leave me a comment and I'll get back with you.

Simona Chivu

This is a story that I wrote some time ago for my friend's birthday. It is about the eternal fight between Good and Evil...after all, in our arrogance, can we understand their true meaning?
