The Highroad

Christopher Perry

From the south deserts of Durnon to the northern peaks of the Lonelands stetches a long ribbon of golden road known as the Highroad. This recounts one traveler's tale as he ventures the whole length of this reknowned causeway.

Dream Escape

Sarah Wilson

This is the first chapter, theres no name to each chapter ...sorry -Mouse

Black Soot Lover

Emily Grist

I had to write a 'hero' story for my English class, and so I wrote this because I've never written a story about dragons before (not up close and personal at least). But, then I saw 'Reign of Fire' (after I turned this in and got graded), and it really broke my heart... This story is almost exactly like that. I'll have to be more original next time then.

Street Shadows Prologue

Keya Paul

The prologue to a story/book/novel I'm writing called Street Shadows. This part won't make any sense to anyone unless you read the rest of the story and know the twists and turns. But, it's short, 'sweet', and very confusing. Now, the story Street Shadows is about a girl named Vincy (won't be introduced until the next chapter) who's the young leader of a street gang in a kinda futuristic world where most of the cities are divided and run by gangs and powerful crime lords. But, it seems humans are not the only creatures on the streets. The rest I'll tell later, but generally it's about gangs, vampires, demons, crime, and all that stuff in it. The story line is developing rather rapidly, so if you're interested, keep checking back.

Untitled - City

Chester Copperpot

A run-on thoughts type piece with zero structure, plot or any thoughts as to actually forming a story, just nice imagery

The Fall of Man (1)

Cly Novak

Yeah, this was a silly little story, but I thought it was just good enough to post.

A Find Taken- Aberan Spell-Thief Part 1

Daniel Kinicki

This is the first part of the story of Aberan the Spell-Thief, a character I created set in Ethyn. Its one of my best I think.

France, 1789

Kaitlynn Klug

I do believe I was part of the French Revolution.

Sun and Sword - Ch. 5

Jeremy Blackwood

Herein we meet the final hero of the story and witness the beginning of her involvement in the plot. The notion of the Shadan (and Boruuni culture in general) is one of my favorite things so far in this work.

E.L.F. - Chapter 1

Michael Ness

An Urban/Contemporary Eco-thriller Fantasy. Logline: 'When a young, would-be eco-terrorist from Seattle is captured by the FBI for protecting the environment, she discovers the real, supernatural protectors of the earth, the cataclysmic means they’re willing to employ to accomplish Mankind’s end, and rediscovers everything and more about herself than she thought she already had all figured out.' 'E.L.F.' is generally told from two sides. The heroine, and an FBI agent seeking to catch her. A Foreword E.L.F. The Earth Liberation Front is a real environmental organization comprised of real people, based mostly in the Pacific Northwest after having originated as a sect derivative of A.L.F. (animal liberation front) in England. These activists, termed as Eco-terrorists, have claimed responsibility for countless acts of vandalism, arson and sabotage amounting to more than six million dollars in damages against companies and individuals. However, they strive to do their deeds with stress on the completion of their missions without the harming of life in the process. Little is known about E.L.F., for it has no hierarchal structure, and therefore has no centralized organization or leadership. There is likewise no official membership to the organization, and any individuals who commit or have committed arson or any other illegal acts under the E.L.F. name are individuals who choose to do so under the banner of E.L.F. of their own accord, and do so only driven by their personal conscience. The accounts found here within, however, are entirely fictional and any resemblance to real individuals or their efforts is entirely coincidental. The author in no way condones acts of terrorism for ANY cause, but does however believe that perhaps we as human beings have taken our mother earth a bit less than seriously enough, and that perhaps we need to reform our modes and means of living our lives in drastic fashion to not so greatly vex our domain. The sad state of the natural world beneath the destructive tendencies of mankind and its industrious ways have given light to the irrefutable fact that we are killing that which keeps us alive. And without her, we cannot survive. In light of this fact, this tale is dedicated to the planet and all its people in hopes that many more than one will see the necessities for living our lives are not so great that we couldn’t do without a few sacrifices in the many spectrums of living our lives.

That Superhero Stuff Ch. 1

Alexander Damien

This is the first chapter of a really cool story I had planned to write with some friends. It never flew, but I still love it too much to let this chapter gather dust in my hard drive, so here it is.Comments are greatly appreciated, and if anyone is interested enough to create their superhero and try to revive the story, just contact me, I'd love that!

White Rose

Katie Raynes

This is the result of my furry obsession, written probably around four or five years ago. I'm only really putting this here because I have to upload two stories, I want to upload them now, and I don't have anything else ready ^_^ It's called White Rose because of the monestary, incidents at which the main plot revolves around, but takes place nowhere near. It's old, it hasn't been changed since I wrote it the first time, and it was really going somewhere but has little hope of that now ^^;; Don't judge too harshly.

The Hell Machine

Trevor Evans

I said in my bio that a lot of my stories are what I dream, this is one of them. I could see much more, but I can not get it right, so here it is. Not the greatest title in the world, but it seems to fit. There are problems with it, feel free to comment.
