A couple of stories I wrote a few days ago. I tried to put in a subtle hint of horror, and I hope I succeeded, please comment!!
The morbid articulate narrative of a rebel whom has crossed the line.
The story revolves around a young chap who becomes a knight later in the story. It's a very interesting story. Please read it again, last altered on 29/05/99.
I wrote this story on a completely deranged note. I think I was running a high fever at the time if that is any sort of excuse. This story is like nothing I have ever written, or you've probably read before. Enjoy the corny creapyness! XD
Kares is a very historic city, the hub of thousands of years of history, and the heart of Orthodox Deiam for many of those years. Many sources, including the staunch atheist Karl Wyrdman, hail it as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. However, even a rose has thorns, and none are more aware of this than Father Miachellan. A doctor, priest and scholar at the Arsudei Heshin, he is among the few struggling to fulfil the medical needs of the hundreds of sick and dying turned out by the recent strike at Eden, Inc. However, he soon learns that the cities troubles are more widespread, and, indeed, closer to home than he had imagined.
Immortal shapeshifters, Walkine and Maris, flee from thier fellow. They are destined to live forever but that didn't help any of the othre alushi.
My second entry for James Bowers's little Project, and this time I genuinely had a bit of trouble deciding what I wanted to do. Amusingly enough, when I thought that I was once again in a hurry to meet the deadline (thinking that I literally submitted the entry on the eleventh hour), I was wrong. Just a day afterward I realised the deadline was still a month away...
With but a few days of peace, war is already on the horizon. And this time it may be a war that will crush all.
A poem written for english class. Could be about anything, so this one is based off a picture I did that you can see here http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/art/s/t/sthreadgill/dragonpastel.jpg.html in my elfwood Sci-fi and Fantasy Gallery.
While waiting for the rest of my family to show up, the management of Blue Pines fell upon my shoulders. I find that my daughter's heart has been stolen away. My wife was attacked by ghosts. And my son has spoiled like everything else in this cursed land. We flee south and east as far as we can, fleeing the source of desecration, only to be turned north again. Unwillingly.
Okay This one I wrote for an English Examthe starting line/sentence was given to us and we had to write a story which contained that line somewhere. My teacher gave me 15/20 and his reason for it was that he thought I had taken it from some other author's work :PAnyways It's an original piece done by me ^_^The Priest's Folly is about this desperate man who is visited by a mysterious figure who gives him a book containing Dark Arts Majick spells. The Priest uses the book in desperation and then has to deal with the consequences. ^_^"The Priest's Folly" has been divided in two PartsThis is the First PartEnjoy
Doom-based story from the website of a RP I run. Post Appocalypse-y.
This is an idea. Upon consideration of how an immortal might tell his/her story, this was what came to mind. But it's just an idea...
Slightly more abstract than I'd normally go for. It's to do with people who believe that there lives are already laid out before them and try to conform to their fate instead of taking destiny into their own hands. I can't remember exactly what was going through my mind at the time or what inspired me to write this.
It had begun. The beginning of a new era for humanity; the new hope for us all. But, as with all happiness, it was short lived...
A twist on the classic Dracula story - this time things start bubbling up in the middle of Europe. As I stated on a previous work which I had up on ElfWood long agp... you decide if it's worth working further on... enjoy :)
