The year is 2072, after most of mankind has been wiped out by nuclear war. The world's a barren wasteland, where it's a struggle just to survive. These tales follow the exploits of Drake, a lone gunfighter, as he makes his living in the desert wastes.
Okay, I had to fight several nasty dragons to get thischapter put up with the illustration...I'd appreciate some comments on that, too! Don't mind it's crappiness, please, I'm a better writer than I am an artist.
The main character is Phaedra, an alien girl, around the age of 20. As far as she knew she was the only one of her kind, and didn't seem to mind. But after the death of her adoptive father things started to move in a strange direction.
We meet Zaal, heir to the agross Armada. He has a nasty disposition towards humanity as well as his father.
Cobar leaves his hovel in the desert to search for meat, but finds something he did not expect.
This is my first attempt at a mystery, involving the character I mentioned on the home page. I can honestly say that this is the only story I've ever had to research both alchemy and street gang culture. The conclusion will be online by the end of September. Feel free to comment-It’s one of the few ways I’ll actually learn. One comment-this story has been edited from the original to fit with elfwood guidelines. Anybody interested in my limited knowledge of verbal obscenities can email me at email@example.com to request the unedited version with the understanding that this transaction is strictly between the author and the individual and not part of the elfwood community.
Drake and Jess have lived in my web comic 'Life with dragons' for some time.. you will find Jess & drake on my art page. This is how they met for people who ask. why is drake a diabetic? long story for one it part of the real world. mainly i wanted him to be a little like the real drake..love you drake
If you're coming here from someplace other than the previous chapter, I suggest you go and read chapter one. Otherwise, it'll be quite confusing indeed. The plot thickens here, and beware the end! Hope you enjoy.
This is a little pilot story, I decided to write it because it sounded cool... I'm gonna work on it more later.
Written for grade ten english class (done about two hours before it was due) this is SUPPOSED to show both 'beast' and 'beauty' or good and evil in equal proportions. The drakes name is from norse mythology although the story is not. I ended up getting 10 out of 10 on this but only 6 out of 10 on the poem I submitted with it. (when the night leaves again.)
Life on Earth has now evolved out of the muck and mire and at long last turns its gaze longingly to the stars. A bold group of Spacefarers sail forth to discover the answers to the mysteries shrouding the fate of prior voyages, led by a captain whose origin is as shrouded in mystery as some of his crew...
After finding the human girl, Cobar brings her back to his shelter. Her fate rests in his claws.
Here it is, the third chapter of my yet untitled story. If you have any suggestions for the title, it would be appreciated enormously, as well as any other constructive criticism. What I'm aiming for is for my writing to paint a picture. If you're not getting any pictures from my words, then either you're imagination is busted or I screwed up somewhere. Much obliged if you'd point it out!
This is chapter one in a story I'm slowly crafting in my spare time. I started writing this story on the way to Alabama, going to visit some relatives with my best friend Jenna. It had been rolling around in my head for the longest time, and I decided to put it to paper. Finally, I thought up a title for it! It means 'Battle of the Followers' in Elvish, and is pronounced (dah-GOAR-uh KAY-lee-in) Any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!
A madien, unhappy with her appearence comes apon a most unusual friend.
This is the first part of my newest story about my fav character; Drake Greyraven. I don't know where the heck I got the inspiration from for this one, except that I remember having a dream the night before about Drake being chased through a dense wood, pursued by silouettes of four-legged men. When I woke up the next day the words just flowed onto the page. I blame the medication ^^
