Mare Maris (Sea)

Matthew Deagle

Just a somewhat surreal little thing describing the sea... Related to a character in a fantasy story I'm writing... I gave this to a friend once as a gift, I believe...but that doesn't mean I can't put it in Elfwood... Kind of a Celtic/Maritime air about it...and with good reason... The story I mentioned has to do much with Faeries, which as you hopefully know, were (and are) a large part of Celtic mythology...

Dream Weavers

Donna Viessman

Dreamers (Chapter 12)

Eve Peters-Campbell

What can I say? If you've read the past eleven chapters you probably know pretty much what's going on, and if not, this probably isn't the best point to jump in. But suit yourself!

The Sleeping Castle

Jessie Fleischfresser

My own take on 'Sleeping Beauty.' Sick of waiting for your prince to come? Might be time to take matters into your own hands.

I Dream...To Survive

Elizabeth Steen

It's what I do.

Ok... I wrote this... guess where? In the fog, alone. The fog was so peaceful, and it seemed so magical, I had to write something about it. So... I did! :)

Project One (Collaboration)

Christopher Heisserer

Written in conjunction with Martin Kehoe, of whom has given me his permission to allow this work to be submitted. The conflicting lives of two very different characters. This was written to test my ability to properly describe dream-state horror and keep it (narrowly) in the realm of reality.

Dreamers (Chapter 13)

Eve Peters-Campbell

Okay, so it's been a while. Started back up at school after a 5 year break, and suddenly was short on time. Plus I got to a turning point in the story and had to figure out where it was going next. Here's the beginning of the solution. Hope you enjoy it! Point the second: Since I am (notoriously) terrilble at frequent updates, and I can completely understand people giving up in despair and not checking in periodically, I'm forming a list of those who want updates. If you would like to be added to this list, e-mail me- there's a button off to the right to do that. Put something about elfwood in the subject line so I don't delete it out of hand, and let me know exactly what you want to know about (eg all updates, Dreamers updates, whatever.) Feel free to say anything else too, of course, feedback is fun. And now, back to the story...

Dream Sequence: A Mystical Journey (two poems in one)

Krista Loy

This is about a journey dream...a spirit dream if you will. It is a unique form of poetry in which two poems are in one and are typically read by two readers simultaneously making for an intriguing, unusual listening experience.

To The Tune of the Blue Bells

Catherine Kale

This poem was written after reading this poem: I loved the line about dancing to the tune of the blue bells, I thought it was really sweet and innocent, and so with the authors kind permission, I wrote my own poem. Sadly the whole line doesnt fit with the rhythem of the poem, so I had to cut it down, but I still think it sounds really nice :)

Battle of the Brave

Nicolei Arnold

When all hope is lost, who is to claim victory?

Lianne Ratzersdorfer

This poem was inspired by a... well, I won't say what it is, read the poem and figure it out for yourself. :)

Rosie a.k.a female fred
