Just a somewhat surreal little thing describing the sea... Related to a character in a fantasy story I'm writing... I gave this to a friend once as a gift, I believe...but that doesn't mean I can't put it in Elfwood... Kind of a Celtic/Maritime air about it...and with good reason... The story I mentioned has to do much with Faeries, which as you hopefully know, were (and are) a large part of Celtic mythology...
Okay, you guys are gonna hurt me, but I actually wrote this ages and ages and ages ago, but didn't put it up because I didn't get around to going over it. Still haven't, actually, so there are some changes I want to make and will probably put an updated version in at some point. But the point is, what with popular demand for more and stuff- a new (for you at least) chapter. Now, I DON'T have another full and complete chapter prepared at teh moment, so this won't be immediately followed by another, but I'll try to finish up the next one before long. (less than the year or two it took to put this one up) I also don't guaruntee that it will necessarily be in the future- I'm thinking at some point of fleshing out the childhood a bit more. Btw, the web publishing thing I mentioned I backed out on. Didn't seem like a good idea at the moment. ANYWAY- We have: The Morning After. Enjoy!
What can I say? If you've read the past eleven chapters you probably know pretty much what's going on, and if not, this probably isn't the best point to jump in. But suit yourself!
No, I didn't really have these dreams. And for the life of me I can't remember why I wrote this, but I thought it was an interesting contrast to some of the other things I have posted so here it is.
So yeah. I'm sorry if this one is only okay, I was editing really fast. I'm sorry it's so long! Grah! Anyway, I hope everyone likes it. I'm trying really hard to finish this story, I'm sorry that its always so slow!!! :(
This is about a girl where a spell is weaved on her in a dream to make her miserable, think bfg meets nasty evil guy. I don't really understand it myself either
I was sitting on the dock, watching people enjoying summer. Jetskiing, boating, fishing, swimming. I closed my eyes and let the scents of the bay and sounds of the water take me away. This Amy Brown image sang to my soul and to this poem. Silver Tree
This is for the rest of the Frail Maidens of the world! May gentle and patient love find you and hold you in their hearts, even when you hurt too much to be held within their arms. YOU HAVE SUCH INNER-STRENGTH AND BEAUTY alone.
This story opens up with the awakening of the magic garden in the bright morning light and the introduction of the main character, Erin, a beautiful young teenage girl who lives at the center of the garden...with all beauty and grace. Little does Erin know the wonders and whimsy of this ethereal garden as she lives day to day embraced by the beauty of it. What strange powers sit within the magic garden?
This is the first chapter in the story I am currently writing. The entire thing with all it's chapters is titled 'Luck and Lust.' The short story in my Elfwood Library is sort of a prologue for this one. Had to include my favorite character of course. Tell me what you think of it, always looking to make an improvement.
A ballad that chroncicles the dreams and aspirations of a small pewter dragon figurine...
Well... Chapter four. Lots of happy things in the chapter. One happy thing is that the writing actually starts to...um, how could I put this... Not suck? There is another happy fight, and another bizarre dream sequence. There is even a happy little poem at the beginning. (oh, wonderful change)
Its a kinda strange story...it's my short story for school so there's not fighting...its just about this girl who guards this giant Norse tree thing that supposedly holds the whole Norse world. . . I shoulda put the wolf in it but instead there's a big pretty bird... (p.s-I spelled the name wrong too..) And beware the somewhat sappy ending...its the best way to rope teachers
