A Girl's Lament

L. Price

New stuff on my dad and my feelings... hell, if I can't deal with it, I write it. So shut up and read. (Warning, foul language)

When Hatred Consumes

M. Okma

This is one of my more abstract stories. I wrote it after I found out my Grandfather had a stroke. I needed and output for my anger and this was the result.

Dragon's Love Immortal

Stephen Serna 'Sladaerna'

Just thought I'd write about how a Dragon feels about loving his mate...

Sky Fall

Stephen Serna 'Sladaerna'

This one was written...well...I really am not sure. It is from the perspective of one of the Dragons in a mating flight. It doesn't cover physical aspects if anyone was grumbling, it speaks on the emotions involved. This is one of my five favorite poems out of over a hundred I've written. Also had one friend of mine comment it sounded like a suicide pact and I understand why he'd said that, though it isn't meant to be. Enjoy...

The Cliff at the edge of the Universe

Lyndsay Gilbert aka Liadan

A letter written by Avayelle, same character from a few of my poems to the Necromancer.

My Angel, My Demon

Michelle Morrison (May)

I wrote this over spring break of 2004 while I was at the beach. It was a rather dark time of uncomfortable experiences mentally for me, and the rough Atlantic Coast gave me a few images that churned about until I combined the two. Thus, the story. Please comment, as I was a bit hesitant at putting this piece up and I am not entirely sure I am finished revising it.

Awaiting Death

Shuo Chen

Ummm...I've made several futile attempts to write good descriptive figurative language for this 'un, but they're just that--futile. Anyway, this originally came from my sympathy for the old and I did this as a kind of practice piece, for me to explore the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual world of the old. Please say something about this piece.

Warriors: Sunshine

Christopher Beluga

When this young warrior's life was bright and warmed by sunshine, a great darkness cut through it like a lance. His heart was shattered and he all but gave up, until a distant flicker of light came to warm his heart again.

Worth living for

Michelle Baptiste

This is about friendship and the sacrifice of one for another.

Peter Dahlgren

What to say about this one? First of all, it has taken me ages to write, and not just because it's the longest one I've written by far. I have no idea whether it's any good or not. There are definitely parts I really like but if it works as a whole is more difficult to judge. It's weird, it's abstract, perhaps philosophical, perhaps overly indulgent. It won't give you all the answers, so if you don't like to interpret things for yourself it's probably not for you. Read, comment and hopefully enjoy. Update 13th April: fixed some punctuation.

Sky Flyers- Love until Sunrise

Mandi Embree

And so here it is, a tale about Pari'lin, the prince of the Sky Flyers within the world of Butter-fae Grove. It took me 2 days to write this, and I'm quite proud of it...also... This is dedicated to the wonderful D Joelle Duran! ^_^ She was my 100th comment here in my library and requested (from two choices) a tale about dear Pari'lin. I do hope you enjoy it Joelle! ^_^

Waves of wandering dream
