Lei Fyrlight - Part Two

Jacqueline AKA Eilonnwy

Here's the second part to the Lei Fyrlight story. Whee! I was writing it at like 1am in the morning. What can I say? When I've got a rythym going I need to stick to it. -_^ Read the exile for the Epilogue to this story.

Rain on a Sunny Day

Morgan Grover

Much of my work developes from various writing exercises, and this is one such example. The protagonist, Covik, is technically a half-ogre, though you will see people call him an ogre out of hatred. For this story I was given three words (race, north-east, and fire). I will let you see how they play out. This story has been redone multiple times now, but I am finally starting to become happy with it. I may certainly repay Covik a visit sometime, he has developed into an interesting character. Let me know what you think!

Intrinsecus

Matthew Deagle

I decided to just take that 'In the Nature of Men' thing and transform it into a very very short little thing which serves as a small piece of writing which really doesn't require much background information to be understood--at least emotionally... Intrinsecus is Latin for 'Inwardly'

In the Nature of Men

Matthew Deagle

This is only a small segment of a story that I plan to finish within the next couple of months. I posted this semi-edited introduction so that I could receive some criticism on the writing style.

Child of Eidolon. Chapter 4 - Murder

Isabelle L Davis

Terrible deeds are now afoot. Dark magics are being brought to bare as death stalks the darkened corridors of Castle Aldoc.

The Barber

David S. Percival

Another story that could easily become typical fiction.... I don't know how I feel about this one. On the one hand, I feel the idea is fairly interesting, being that of a barber and his old army commander. On the other, I think the wizard's narrative is a little bland, and the ending creeps up a little too fast. I wrote this kind of late at night - actually, very early Sunday morning, I suppose - and I have a feeling I might change it sometime in the future.

Dead End Angel

Natasha Wickland

A short story that i had to write for english. It had to be in a futuristic setting and had to be able conformation in society (to conform or not to conform)I got a B++ for this...

The Siren and the Queen

Sarah Silversmith

Created to experiement with the hazy and blurred effect, and also to set the scene for a short story in progress. Unbeknownst to the Queen, the woman she is about to execute by drowning is a siren. Written from Siren's point of view.
