This is a short story which we wrote in eighth grade and reedited in ninth. We think it is sun but is not at all serious. It is mostly just some silly fun and hopefully you will enjoy it. Gilia is primarilly responsible for this one.
A man who spent his entire life seeking a treasure, receives instead something completely unexpected.
What begins as an otherwise ordinary week of school ends up being much more deadly than anyone would have expected
Okay, not an original title... This is a continuation of Dryad, the Dryad story itself being the introduction. It will certainly be a work in progress. Stop by every so often to see if I've updated it
An old hermit-of-a-hero is summoned to help the king, but finds there is more to his quest than what it seems
Daniel Ranevier was an excellent SWAT officer in San Fransisco of 2003. That is, until he went back through an experimental transdimensional device to pursue a test subject and wound up in an alternate world. Now, after having found a niche for himself in this strange place, he must quest for a magical artifact to save a friend.
Just thought..'Well...it's a cool dessy, and I can't draw and I didn't have the room to place it in the story.. so..put it up separately.' Works, right?
Short story written for class. First story in grade 9. Almost perfect marks. Do you think I deserved it? The mage is based off a friend of mine's role play character. Rahlaer. The description of Kadessa is put up as well. It was only supposed to be a short story.. So I didn't get much of a chance to tell what she looks like. And so I love her description.
This is the first chapter of a novel which I have been writing for a long time, and have got quite a lot further with than I usually do. i can really see this one going somewhere, but i'd love to know what you think of it and whether or not you'd like me to post some more up.
For the older folks in the 'Woods, maybe you can relate to my memories of a beloved pet! Topsy wasn't your everyday cat or dog.... She was MUCH bigger! Since Jim Bowers and I went to high school together, I wrote this for a Writer's Group meeting I attended while visiting him several months ago. Just a touch of humor...
I got the idea for this story not that long ago.... An example of my furry writing, I have come to like the dark atmopshere that I started this in. The chapters will be posted as I write them. It is a welcome break from The First Alliance, in which I am currently having writer's block. Fustrating.
I can't really think of what to write, but please read my story novel and make comments. It may be long but it will be worth it.
Sometimes dreams seem so real you can't tell whether they're really dreams or reality. And sometimes you meet somebody in a dream you wish you could meet in real life. But in a land of magic, perhaps a dream actually CAN be real. (part 1) Just a note, but this, like most of my work, was never planned to be on a computer, so its probably a little bit longer even in sections than I would have made it if I HAD had computers in mind...
Okay, you guys are gonna hurt me, but I actually wrote this ages and ages and ages ago, but didn't put it up because I didn't get around to going over it. Still haven't, actually, so there are some changes I want to make and will probably put an updated version in at some point. But the point is, what with popular demand for more and stuff- a new (for you at least) chapter. Now, I DON'T have another full and complete chapter prepared at teh moment, so this won't be immediately followed by another, but I'll try to finish up the next one before long. (less than the year or two it took to put this one up) I also don't guaruntee that it will necessarily be in the future- I'm thinking at some point of fleshing out the childhood a bit more. Btw, the web publishing thing I mentioned I backed out on. Didn't seem like a good idea at the moment. ANYWAY- We have: The Morning After. Enjoy!
Yeah, it's an update. And you thought after three years it was dead-- fooled you! *laugh* Seriously, I'm really sorry about my vanishing. I will sincerely try not to take three years to get chapter fifteen done.
This small excerpt is part of an ongoing story that can be found on my website. In this chapter, the prince of a foreign realm plots a scheme to murder his father. But what are his true motives?
I felt like writing a short story one night after reading a chilling horror book I bought from B-A-M. This was the result. A mother is forced to make a terrible decision as her son pays her a late-night visit.
This is an excerpt from the novel I am working on. The novel is tentatively named 'The Books of Narevyn'. It's classified as 'epic fantasy' for some retarded reason. I disagree with that classification because I don't want to be pigeon-holed. Please read and review. Let me know what you think. I also have copies of this on my DeviantArt page and my Myspace page.
