Inhabitability Chapter 2

Christopher Heisserer

A continuation of the Inhabitability book. A few chapters aren't considered 'sci-fi' in the strictest sense, but they certainly are part of the story.

Inhabitability Chapter 5

Christopher Heisserer

The plot thickens. Again.

Vanessa Merritt

Inspired by The Matrix and Arcana in about equal proportions, Techni is about people who are half computer. I'm sorry it ends so abruptly, I'll get another upload later.

Pirates 'I: Escape'

The Beginnings

Yvonne Bressani

This and the other story that I am uploading are tales of a character that I have created for a storyboard at The SciFiVine that are not part of the storyline.

Bristien Havenaar

'Autobiography' of Wake Ho, Intergalactic Pirate. (2001-Present)

Saturday Night Lights

Chelsea Castonguay

What happens when mysterious beings show up at a kegger?

What do you want?

Allison Starkweather

Woohoo! Another post! Betcha all are happy, huh? :) This is another exercise I did with Kayla, like the one before, although this one isn't comic like that one was. The exercise was to ask your character what they wanted more than anything else, and what they'd do to get it. This is what Kayla wanted.

Easy Pickings

Ben Marroquin

The following piece of horror flash fiction is based upon a character of a novel I'm currently working on; Seraph Hunters. It mixes the horror genre with the comic book genre. I hope you enjoy it.

The Tax Zombie Cometh . . .

Amy Schley

A day in the life of Ted Clark, business and tax lawyer. Part of the law series, though this isn't based on any particular cases. Rather, this started as a way of exploring some of the stranger sides of tax law. Believe or not, everything in here is good law. Note: this is an altered version of the original story. Unfortunately, in updating all the old comments were lost. I'm sorry!

Charlotte Geier

In a far-off, rusty tin-can of a space station, young scientists work their magic.

Nine of Swords

Jena Stocks

Don't ask just happened. SF/F crossover...

The Nimin

Jenny Collyer

A to-be-continued science fiction story about one small creature's struggle for escape.

Joshua Young

It's just the beginning... and normally I wouldn't but something this unfinished up here (At least the Guardians Prologue is a whole section.) but I'm looking for some feedback to see if this is in anyway understandable. This story takes place in the same world as a manga I'm working on with a friend- a solar system in which the sun has shrunk and the Earth is dead, and the remanents of humanity hide away inside 'ARKS', which are part of the orbital ring mentioned here.... Anyway..... Yes, The main character is female, and yes, she is 1500 years old.

My Name is Xemby

Kimberly Loo

The highly amusing rant of a forgotten character, trapped in her novel world.

SciFish part 1

Jacob Wendel

Science fiction. The first part. There was more, but my computer made it disappear, so I'll have to start over.

The Xenomorph Experiment 1

Jason Romein

The first part of my first real success in science fiction, and for that matter, my first true story with a beginning, middle, and end (that exceeded ten pages). This is also the second writing of this one, and is far superior to the first (which was on lined paper)
