Flesh And Metal p1-6

China Mieville inspired, as well as wondering just how far the manipulation of living creatures can be taken. I also wondered how humanity would behave in a world full of magic.

The Right Path

Jamie Creature' Isfeld

She came to a crossroads. Which road to take? Written in about one hour. Simple, short, and doesn't do much outside of its story. Tada - you may not like it. I know I don't. Feel free to figure out the meaning - I don't know what it is, exactly. As usual, please leave one piece of constructive criticism with any comments you may have.

If you have a weak stomach or recently ate something, I advise you not read this. The idea of this came to my mind while I was swinging in the dark above snow-covered ground one night.9th

Shift Happens

Adrea Bolyard

A girl of recent times finds that her 'talents' of intense hearing ability aren't all that its cut out for. She is a shifter. A dragon shifter. And she is REAL.

Unicorns - poem

Nikki Drewry

eh... I enjoy taking perfectly innocent animals and making them go totally against what they normally are like... like my rabid, cannibalistic, flesh eating unicorns, or my five foot ten headed, fire breathing sheep, or things that probably aren't covered in insurance, like being violently and vicisouly attacked by ducks. But then, I can imagine that happening... maybe buterflies. Giant butterflies. Giant, radioactive butterflies. Yeah! I was attacked by butterflies when I was a kid. They all landed on my arms, and I thought it was neat untill my arms started itching and broke out in hives. I think they bit me. Hey, if they were radioactive butterflies, would I be butterfly-woman? Or butterflyma? *make electronic screaching noises and flutters about smashing Tokyo into bits* Mwahahahahaha!

Into the Darkened Corners

Tina Seitz

Dark in nature. It playes upon the fears of the human mind.

They are stronger than you think

Jermaine Joseph

Have no idea why I did this, oh how it came into my mind. Just wrote it... stragne that. Saying what this is about spoils it all so...

Breath of Life

Christina Stoppa

A life and death piece

The Gods made a mistake

Kimberly Bennett (a.k.a Moon_Fox)

Just something I cooked up in about an hour, maybe less.

Evan Penn

Another of my twisted, disturbed poems...hope u like it...

Dark Goddess In Town

Patricio Gronda

The Dark Goddess visits the town and the Freedom Fighters are willing to use this opportunity to get rid of her. Oh, also, some tax payment problems are solved. This story has been spellchecked by a couple of really nice elftowners.

Flesh And Metal p6-11

We see a lot more of Shuf and people start to get pushed into place so that Things can Happen.

I am rotting

Ranko Trifkovic

From living dead's own experience

Clowns, Penguins, Elephants, Knebbles, and Mice

Crystal Tomaino

I wrote this a few years back as a comedy, but I was told by many people that it was dark and strange. I'm not sure if I believe that, but the readers can decide for themselves.

Tina Stearns

This started out as a song then evolved into something totally different. Hummmm...too much HellRaiser maybe...

The Curse Of The Crimson Talismans: Episode Two

Kayla Lamb

This is the second episode....entitled 'The Gift'.

Sea Changed

Cathryn Faerwald

This was inspired by, Full fathom five thy father lies; Of his bones are coral made; Those are pearls that were his eyes: Nothing of him that doth fade, But doth suffer a sea-change Into something rich and strange. Sea-nymphs hourly ring his knell: Hark! now I hear them, ––ding-dong bell. - William Shakespeare, The Tempest: Act I, Scene II
