A great plague visited the Earth long before recorded history, wiping out many genetic traits. Slowly these genes have been re-awakening with man's evolution. (Maybe our scribbles hold more truth than we know....)
Since this is a complete work, I'm going to let it speak for itself...
China Mieville inspired, as well as wondering just how far the manipulation of living creatures can be taken. I also wondered how humanity would behave in a world full of magic.
Thirteen-year old Tobieaz Redil has made an extraordinary discovery: he is growing a pair of wings. Now he has to figure out a way to deal with a society that won't accept him as who he is, but will treat him as a monster.
This part's a bit... calmer than the last. And shorter. As always, for the unedited version, visit my personal library.
When twins Kiba and Kira are kidnaped on there sixteenth birthday, they have no idea what they truly are, genetically engineered humans, designed to live longer, they ae faster, stronger and smarter than anything the world has ever seen. Can they discover there full potential before they are slaughtered in the name of science?
What if dragons actually existed on Earth? What if something of them remained? What if they could be brought back? An exobiologist at Cornell University is about to find out the answers...and get more than he bargained for. This story was for an Expository Writing class in High School.
Well this is just the first chapter, I'm just basicly trying to introduce the characters and set the scene. We're in the future, I haven't chosen a year yet, and these four young people are in for one heck of a time.
Starships meet stunted minds and bigotry meets biotech deep in the heart of Texas.
the scientist have got it to create a pure human without the incorrect 'gene'. But then the alien species...
Far into the future, two female soldiers undertake a dangerous mission to steal the fabulous 'space-curver' that has the power to warp the space-time continuum and thereby change the shape of the universe itself. The only problem is that the space-curver is not some wonderous technological invention, but an immortal witch-princess who is not merely the psychotic and despotic ruler of a far distant alien world, but also the only and treasured offspring of the Galactic Emperor himself.
Those of you who have read my selections from New Avalon will recognize the Legion character; however, this is not the same girl that you've come to know and love. This, ladies and gentlemen, is Legion v. 1.0. The original, from modern times, years before New Avalon. I've recently gone back and basically rewritten this story. The improvment, I think, was dramatic. Let me know.
Worlds is the longest piece of fiction I've ever typed, and finally here it is edited. I took advice, reduced the amount of perspectives, fixed to the best of my abilities the shifting tenses and altered an awful lot. The plot remains the same as it was though. Any input would be greatly appreciated, especially about the shifting viewpoints and peoples opinions on if this is an improvement over the last version or not (don't worry if you haven't read the original please still look this over and comment) The world is one ruled by women with psychic powers, where it is the turn of males to be persecuted. A world where the prophecies foretell of a chosen one who will throw off the shackles of opression, a man with the powers of a woman who will bring about great changes. Here begins the tale... (which incidentally is continued in Other Worlds)
I have no further need to qualify myself or my extreme moods as evidenced in Shadow Walker. The story ends here, tying together some others which are in my library. Read and find out which stories are connected. This story also continues the exposition of Shadow Walker, and finishes his story.
We see a lot more of Shuf and people start to get pushed into place so that Things can Happen.
This is supposed to be the fourteenth chapter of the Immortal Trinity Chronicles, but I've been having trouble with writing the second chapter because I don't have a clue what it's like through a female perspective which it has to be written in. So, until I get the other 13 Chapters written, this is the next leg of the saga in the making. I've written about my future self to add a better perspective to the story, with a couple of twists that even I was suprised with.
The next day. Mostly talk and little action, but that's usual for me. (For the unedited version, visit my personal library.)
I think this is the shortest part so far - but don't let that fool you, important stuff happens here! As usual, for the unedited version, visit my personal library.
The famous Shraan story is a story of two large races in a system on the outer stretches of Milkey Way battling it out over one single planet. The heroes from these stories are two genetically enhanced creatures that do not belong to either army, but instead make their way into each society with different approaches.
