Just a little idea that popped into my head during math class a while ago. Like the Reluctant Dragon, only the other way around. If the title sounds a bit awkward, it's because it's supposed to be a visual thing - To Slay a Dragon, with 'Slay' crossed out and 'Rob' written above it. Antoine my Muse (not to mention my teacher) has been bugging me to write more of this. I think I should, but as it usually happens, no plot springs to mind. What will happen next? It is up to YOU, the readers! If you want this to continue for more than another chapter or so, kindly bash Antoine over the head with a two-by-four until he thinks of something creative. X3 Edit: LOOK! RIGHT THERE! BESIDE THIS DESCRIPTION! Is it... could it be... YES! A MODS CHOICE ICON! SquEEEEEEEEEEE! (For the record: it is/was May 4, 2003) Aargh, I swear it was there. It really was. I think I may have updated a statistic or something and it went away. *sniffle* I miss my bootyful icon....
Chapter Three. George and Iynmiir have a little walk and find an unpleasant suprise waiting for them when they get back...
Wirenth's quest takes her to Europe, but will she find the solution to her problem?
Here is the sequel The Princess, The Dragon And Harry The-Not-Very-Brave and is the second part in the Saga of The Misadventures of Harry The-Not-Very-Brave. However, this story can still be enjoyed without having read the first one (though it is recommended). This is my take on the legend of Saint George, and was inspired by a beer poster that I saw a while ago. Once again, it is at least meant to make you smile if nothing else. Hope you like it!
Aargh. So I handed in my likkle story to Mrs C-H, all nicely bound (and about three months ago - bleah to update delays) and she's all happy and I ask when I'll get my mark and she says they're not gonna be marked. So, yeah, no mark, although my teacher loves my work and I'd probably get a 4 or something.
Next chapter in my little saga. George has tea with the dragon and a new character is introduced who some of you may find eerily familiar... Interesting little fact: This story has become an end-of-year project. I have the best teacher. I haven't gotten my grade yet, but I'll be sure to tell you guys what it is when I do!
When Elfwood went down again, I had an image of how this happened, and just had to write it down *g*. BTW, the first illustration was made by V.E.Lehkonen (the picture links to the original, which is much larger), the second one was made by the God of Elfwood, Thomas Abrahamsson, himself, who gave permission to use it.
The last chapter, alas. Angst, wails, and cliffhanger endings! Isn't it great, folks?
Waking up is always hard... especially when you've got an unexpected visitor
Did you ever wonder why dragons kept kidnapping fair maidens, only to have them be rescued by bold knights and brave warriors?
Chapter six - morphing, fencing, magic, death, all that fancy stuff. Read, enjoy, refrain from whacking the poor, mistreated muse with a 2-by-4!
For my myth and legend class, we had to write our own myth or fairytales using certain motifs/types/elements that we studied in class. Big thanks to Brie for helping me out! If you're wondering, yes, that is THE George X) (the mod's mascot). I had to sneak him in somehow, lol.
