Short story written for class. First story in grade 9. Almost perfect marks. Do you think I deserved it? The mage is based off a friend of mine's role play character. Rahlaer. The description of Kadessa is put up as well. It was only supposed to be a short story.. So I didn't get much of a chance to tell what she looks like. And so I love her description.
Well, I finally got it done. The muchly revised edition of the second chapter of shadows. Go me. I hope you all like this one better than the first edition;)
A story of fantastical fiction about wizards, elves, orcs, and dragons. This possible epic starts with a new band of wizards entering the lands of The Minor and fighting their way through near-death to the Elven land of Eefenfeild. Introduction and Chapters 1 and 2.
You'll find that a lot of my work is in progress. This is yet another story that is far from being done. In fact this is actually a book that I'm working on. This is a taste of what's to come.
When a war between man and heaven foreced to the King of the Gods into making a decision to prevent it from happening again, no one could have guessed what was to happen.
The second story. It may seem a bit 'stereotype', but remember I was only 17 at the time.
This is my contribution to Wyvern's Project 3, as you probably guessed from the title, with the premise of writing from the enemy’s perspective.. Since it's rare for someone to believe themselves an enemy, my main character is supposed to come across as loving as possible for a leader. But, as a work in nuances and characterisation, with the intent of making the reader think, my protagonist is most definitely 'bad'. As for the competition: this’ll either work well or backfire. The prize is a detailed critique on a story of your choice. To win, you'll need to provide substantial evidence as to why she’s evil. I’ll leave ‘substantial evidence’ up to my own discretion, but anything with two big pieces of evidence or more smaller bits will probably get it. Obviously, if someone’s already pointed out something, you can’t use it to win ;) Have fun. Many thanks goes to the wonderful Jamie and her editing skills for helping me with this. Unfortunately, since I told you the evidence, you can’t win the prize... ;)
This is a variant to the first version of The Debate. I changed a lot of stuff. I think it's better this way. This was one of the stories I put in my Creative Writing portfolio.
This story has Dark Fairy Queen in it, a character that will appear alot in my writtings, I stoled her from Natalie Batsch!!! hehe. (Yes, I asked first.) Well, This really does actually have a meaning to it... I know it's rather long... I got carried away with my character. I think women will find this funnier than men... so *warning* don't yell at me, okies? It does have powers in it. Well.. read with caution!!! Yes, it does get *kinda* confusing, but hopefully not too much!
The Red Sun order its Scarlet Knights are the major force on the isle of Leihalcyone. Though they were once mercenaries, hired to help the islanders stave off the Armies from the mainland in exchange for land, they took Leihalcyone into its golden age, and ushered in a time of peace. Only one thing mars the Utopia, the presence of the Renegades, and the Vontulva. Defectors of the Red Sun Order, who threaten to bring war to Leihalcyone once more...
A princess runs away from her matchmaking father, and finds herself in a land of legend... If you have problems understanding some of the words I use in the story, what they mean, etc, just take a look at my profile :) There is a little bit of a glossary up there to go with my stories for you all! Update, 4July08: Tiffa drew up two of my characters! You can find Princess Jessica and Prince Derek here: http://www.elfwood.com/art/t/i/tiffa/tiffa.html
The ultimate chapter of 'Dragonsong'. Very pretty, say I. I suppose we shall determine later whether I will post more stuff on here or not.
This is the fifth chapter of my book Alphinia. Derkin is now into the second part of his verification test. these are the seven magical tests that lead up to the final eighth test, which is in the next chapter.
This is the story of a boy named Derkin, who finds out that his destiny lies not as a space fighter piliot, but as the ruler of a world that operates in both science and magic. A world of wonder where someone is deperatly trying to kill him. The third chapter covers a meeting with an old friend, and an explination about how he is to become the true leader of Alphinia
