Vampire's Eyes

Cathryn M. Gillespie

Just about what a Vampire might say if you asked him/her what he/she is.

Amy Downum

A horror of religious nature and such. Also a practice in symbolism centering around religious themes. Notice the Seven Deadly Sins? Happy Halloween everyone! :D

Creatures of All Hallow's Eve

Well its a poem I had to do in a hurry due to my lack of work. It was for creative writing. And, the first line is my answer to the teachers question: What do you think of when I say Halloween. (Or something like that) Anyways, others were like: Costumes, candy, parties...I was like DEAD THINGS! :)

The Gathering

Caitlin Swinford

This poem just appeared in my head. I do not know where it came from, but it is very seasonally appropriate. During Samhain, the veil between the spirit world and ours is thin. This is just an image in poem form.

And Maybe It Was for the Better

Zoe Eddy

A story-in-progress... maybe I'll continue... maybe not. It certainly is bizarre. if I do say so myself.

Yet to be titled

Sophie Hocking

The start of a story that I've been dreaming up for a while now... even though there isn't really enough to go by yet, I think it will turn out well :)

Two: A Halloween Story

Jessica Burruss

This is about the unexpected.. or the expected. It's whatever you expect the unexpected to be which is... expected.

Sparkle of the Fae Folk

Christine Zambopoulou

A poem based on a true incident when my kitty was lost.

Amarantha Dyuaaxchs

For long periods of time, this is my favorite song. When it's my favorite song, I often write another verse. The first and the three last stanzas always remain in those positions, so if you don't want to read the whole thing (I think it's 180 lines now), read those four and comment. I regard this as a parody of how Hallowe'en is sometimes perceived.

My First Halloween

Derek Dykes

This came to me while shopping for Hallow's Eve stuff with my toddler. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

The Halloween Fright

Eric Peng

This is one of my very first few attempts at creative writing. It's not too long, but I do believe it brings a certain feel. This story should still be linked as well on my website:

All Hallows Eve

N Furman

It is not all about Trick-or-Treating

Hallow's Eve

Joe Doyle

This is a class assignment that is currently my ONLY mix of fantasy and horror.

Bumping in the Night

I was listening to Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson while I came up with a rather interesting but dirty thought that evolved onto paper and I decided it would be nice to see it on here :)  Just in time for Halloween >:]

Tina Oellerich

Lighting the Fires

dystopian sky

Alan, an augmented human, meets his alien friend, Blacktail, on Earth so that he can teach her about a rather strange human celebration. However, they may encounter more than they expect when the sun goes down and the fires are lit...

A Fall Walk

A woman takes a walk in the forest on a fall night.

Adam Warren

This is a story about Halloween and the strange occurences of the evening.

The Tradition

Brandi Pastories

This was also written for school, in American Literature last year. I just went over it and edited it a bit to make it a little better. It's not my best work, but I don't dislike it. In this story a man denies tradition, faces supernatural consequences, and creates a tradition.

The Devil's Blood Sonata

Christopher Manica

A most unusual and sinister composition, inspired loosely by Tartini's 'Devil's Trill Sonata'.
