I wrote this on 9/19/2006. It was rather a spur of the moment piece, but it turned out very well. This story depicts my former persona, who slowly became his own character, just like Zeradar Kerrinor, Varus Dragonfire, and Isaac Tigerheart before him. While you do not need to, reading The Beginning of the End before this may clear some questions. Though for those of you who did, yes both pieces don't agree on some parts, and thats purposeful. On some other notes, this is my first story in a very long time without any combat. Its also was the shortest piece I had written for quite awhile. However, I am highly satisfied with how it turned out, so much in fact that I consider it my best piece that I wrote in 2006. And before you put your mind in a gutter and ask, the love mentioned in the story is like that between a father and a son, or any other pair of family members. UPDATE 1/15/07: Ok, maybe not a major enough update to warrant caps. Basically reduced the white space, corrected some typos, and changed a few words to make things a bit clearer.
Its the end of this road, although several of the key players appear in other tales of woe and deceit.
SHIFTERS is a series I dreamed up after watching too many horror movies, and playing too many video games. It's got elves, vampires, unicorns, cat-people, and a plethora of other thingums.
I like to be vague and experimental (and I'm not good with naming characters), so no one really has names yet. Also, this is my first jab at writing a serious fantasy story. More will be coming soon...
A story about one of the magical items I created in my D&D campaign.
Well... the letter really kinda explains itself. I just wanted to let my lil one talk. uh... if you are, for some strange reason, dying to know about where this came from feel free to email me. ooo ooo and smile!
Well here's to Chapter 2! This is when the journey has commenced. Please don't keep me from your reading pleasure.
This chapter is probably where a new sort of twist is added to the plot. There are definitely more secrets and unknowns surrounding the journey now.
The first chapter! In this chapter you meet ALL of the main characters (a little overwhelming, I know) and get and idea of where they will all end up meeting each other. This mostly sets things up, things get a bit more interesting in the next chapter.
This is the longest short story I've ever written, and it's the first story I've ever written, so don't be so hard on me, please
The Godhunter breaches the defenses of the Temple of the Cold Lady, looking to finish his challenge to the Sky Lords. But already forces are converging; Arin and Ysdril are on his trail with Casia in tow, and all the preparation in the world wont prepare any of them for what is about to happen. This is the final chapter of the Godhunter series. To think I initially planned for five parts, then ten...and then I gave up planning. I have no discipline. Oh, well. Enjoy!
Etienne and Michel, twins, born into nobility in France just before the Revolution, barely escaped with their lives when their family estate was laid seige to and burned to the ground. They look about 12 years old and are identical twins.
The second half of the prolouge. Kinda long to be a prolouge huh? Eh...whoever said I was good at short stories lied...
This was done for a roleplay.. actually, this came -before- the roleplay began. The page for this can be found here. It needs updated, yes. The second chapter's being written even now.
The war between the Immortals of the Guardian Order and the Fiends of Chaos has stretched from ancient past to modern day, but will this last, deciding battle reveal the Immortal Kin to mortals, and end a thousand eons of secrecy?
