In the End

Alyssa Ullmeyer

This is what happens when my mind decides to have a little fun. This story popped right out of my head and onto the page in about 45 minutes last Christmas Eve (and yes, I do know that the subject matter couldn't be more antithetical to the season). I had just seen that horrible Dracula 2000 movie and wasreflecting on the nature of vampires in general. Then I started playing 'what if...' and the rest is history. If you're offended by any of this, blame my subconcious, twisted freak that she is. Otherwise, just have fun and don't take this story seriously. I have been told by a few friends that the ending moves a little too fast. If you agree, feel free to let me know. I kind of think so too, but I'm not sure how to fix it. Suggestions are welcome!
