This is something I'm working on...I'm not quite happy with it, although I'm not sure how to fix it. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. =] (also, thanks to my friend Dave for coming up with the first line of the story =])
Just an idea that popped into my head one night. An outcast battles for his long sought after acceptance to a powerful group. 7-10-05
The tragic tale of how a young boy brings about the downfall of an entire religion. The translations for the 'chanting' follows each verse.
I finally decided to write something kind of cryptic - you could take this at face value, but there's a hidden understanding placed underneath this story. It's helpful if you know the story of King Minos (NOT Midas, the guy who turned things to gold. Minos is different). I enjoyed writing this, even though it only took a few minutes. I think it's a unique look into an old story. Roles reversed? The unfortunate...thing...left alone with only his own thoughts to keep him company. A single voice that hearkens to him; the only words to ever fill his ears reveal a bewildering truth. Do you know what he is?
Ok, if you've never seen the movie 'Labyrinth' I don't know how much of this story is gonna make sense to you. I'm fairly proud of this cause it's the only story I've started AND finished. I always have trouble finishing my stories. =) I've sectioned it so it's not too much to take in at once, and also so it doesn't take too long to download. I hope you enjoy it. =) If you've never seen 'Labyrinth' e-mail me and I'd be more than happy to tell you what it's all about. You can also find some good sites about it if you search a bit.
a short story describing Theseus's journey into the labyrinth, and his battle with the minotaur
more of the adventures of Kaylene, and her wacky pal Blake! ;)
These are two nightmares of mine. I don't like the second one too well...it was written 'bout a year ago and I slightly edited it recently. I'm trying to combine the two into a single story...they're whimsical, that's cos they're dreams! Please say something about this piece.
A rather short piece on a female warrior tribe. Not much to say, really...
This is something I wrote for an online RP thing. I think it's great. It's a glimpse into a dream, as the title so accurately portrays.
A man lives a tranquil life all alone in his cabin. Then one night, he is awoken by a dazzling light and ventures into the forest - hoping to find answers about both the light and his past.
A guilt-ridden knight on a quest, a mysterious lady who knows his past, and a dark labyrinth of restless spirits.....
This is the first Fantasy story I've uploaded here! Cool, hunh? Since I'm not one to give big summaries of short stories, you'll just have to read it. Please leave a comment, criticism is always welcome as long as it's constructive.
