Of course not so surreal can be strange too, especially as power grows.
just a sad little short story about two lovers making the ultimate sacrifice- one has to die for her land so they will get rain again and the other has to give her up for this too happen. i rather liked the way this turned out. oh and thier Elves too.
I had fun with this one. It was my final project for my creative writing class senior year. Two young people in love, such a beautiful thing, well, until things get in the way of it. Well, love can never be perfect, now can it?
This vignette covers love, lawyers, and abundant mineral ores. What more could you ask for in a story?
This one was in inspired by my characters Demek and Morbius, who can veiw pictures of on my Lorthorien Gallery. Please excuse any misspellings, my spell cheaker died. Anyway this poem is kinda cut and dry, but I like it.
One of the most famous love stories in the world, retold by a very dry academic. This was written as background to a world I was creating.
Reunion. Third one today. I'm going to bed. Goodnight, folks, hope you like the additions.
This is the intro to a project that was suggested to me by Jim Bowers. He also came up with this fantastic title. I originally called it: Soulmates, but found that I like Jim's suggestion much better. These star-crossed lovers are destined to be drawn to each other, no matter where the place or time. Jim has done a complete story for this piece and I believe there are others who are working on a story. See my front page for Jim's link to 'For a Few Silver Coins' as well as E. Hanna's 'Sadariean', which got Mod's Choice!
A vampire can never seem to escape their lover’s questions... This is Donovan's answer to that oft asked question.
On a moonlit beach, two star-cross'd lovers meet.
Gothicly romantic...or so Brandon says! I really should stop with the capitals for shouting *grumble*..it's a bit child-like. Ok..i read this through again and i am a little bit happier with it...but i don't like the ending...i might change it!
Actually, this is a poem. But since I havn't found the time to write more of Cody's tale due to work and my Pregnancy. I hope this will entertain you. :)
Well if you don't like the title now, then tough. I couldn't think of anything better and I'd rather focus on the story. Requested by the great Hanna James as a prize for the 100th comment overall. Based in good ol' Aussie Trailia (yay!) and my first foray into modern(ish) fantasy. Read on!
excerpt that occurs one night after Ian and Xanthippe had begun sharing quarters . . . a conversation between the lovers. (Ed. Note: text in italics represents either emphasis on a spoken word or a character's thoughts.) Before you read this, you might want to read the background stories . . . although (I hope) they're not necessary for enjoyment of this one.
