Did Miriel finally find shelter for the night ? Read and find out. ;)
The third installment of Magick is finished. I literally wrote this in the span of about 3 hours. Inspiration hit me (from more than one angle) and this just came pouring out. Hope you enjoy it. There's a fair amount more meaningful dialogue and plot-formation in this one, as well as more references to the main Montilin storyline.
I've been working on this story and a while, and thought I'd post it here to get some feedback. I'm toying with the idea of scraping, and would appreciate any help hints.
The raid that started it all. The Kivad novel is a 'quasi-completed' series of Everquest fanfiction that I have forever put on hold for two reasons. One, the story had no plan... I simply sat down, and wrote without any idea where it was going, which works for some people, but I wound up with a long story without much of a plot. For some stories, it works, but I just didn't feel much was accomplished. The second reason is following a 'dark elf child' through birth (while in this case, it does have the interesting 'half-dark elf' deal) is a concept that was already covered by R.A. Salvatore, and I felt that reguardless on what additional twists I put on this story, the main character would have come out exactly like Drizzt. But anyway, I am working on bigger and better things and will post the Kivad series up for critique and inspection. Heck, who knows, maybe someone will like it. :-)
Another short story, again in the setting of 'Maria', again about a girl who wants to be something - but this time with magicians, dragons, fights and all that stuff. I'm making progress. Maria herself is mentioned here.
A story of betrayal and war and revenge (*smile* I sent this into a publisher!)
The Waffle Wizard; Pip brings home an antique outfit and Em finds out only a little more of what her twin is plotting.
The first chapter of Weave of Fates - a story of magic, blades and the interlocking of fates. Please tell me what you think, and any tips, errors or suggestions.
This is the third installment in a multi-part series taken from a book I am currently writing with the working title of 'Adventurers'. In this installment, we get to know Samuel a little better. He is an ambitious, talented wizard's apprentice with an unhealthy obsession for forbidden knowledge. Unfortunately for him, his ego matches his natural talent at magic, but not his wisdom.
Wee, chapter one of the first journal entry I ever made as a senior in high school. This was an ongoing thing that was never finished in my Senior Journal. This is just a little intro to what will be a very strange but interesting story. WARNING: There will be a lot of shounen ai/yaoi stuff going on as the story progresses, so watch out!
I wrote the Fall of Toram for a school assignment a while back. It took about 48 hours of work for all five chapters, and it was good to have it finished on time. The Fall of Toram was meant to be the first part of a larger book, but after finishing chapter 5, I decided to stop there. The story will continue, but not using these characters, or this location. Some who have read this have complained the ending was a bit of a let down, but most seemed to think it was all right for part one of a larger story. What I am trying to say is just don't expect everyone to live happily ever after chapter 5, things like that only happen at the end of books. There are a few spelling mistakes, yes I know of them, but I have not bothered to change them yet. The story follows a young man as the city he lives in is invaded by people who don't seem at all interested in the idea of taking prisoners.
This prologue is about a general called Dornall Foreman who is defending his island homeland against and evil tyrant called Mord Kahn. Please crtisize as much as you want!! Peace
A young woman's life is turned upside-down in this short story. She tracks down the killer of her father, only to be faced with a nasty surprise. If you have any questions, please comment. Why did I do it? I wrote it for a contest on Elftown. And just to write.
