A short poem about a maiden preistess whose magic caused her love to betray her (Well, sort of)
This is kind of a response to Lindy 'Shanra' Kuepers poem 'Prince of Fae'. I kind of like it. Kind of. :P
This poem I wrote a few years ago for a class. It's about a town that ends up on the wrong side of a dragon.
This poem is a poet's way of asking his reader to keep and open mind and not flee from the tale just because you don't like the twists and turns it might take. Written January 28, 1998.
The only things standing between Tulomon and Iliva is their differences in religion...
Ok. This came to me at 11 at night in the dark after taking my dog for a walk wearing my opera cloak. I think it has some deep seated meaning but not sure. By the way, this was written as an outlet...not for a true purpose so I really am not going for length or perfection. I did however try to stick with the right tense.
Written in my junior year of high school, I present for your scrutiny, this awkward bit of prose in all of its unedited glory. Many apologies in advance... :)
This is the very ending of Basifu's story of The Magic Book. It is NOT very long but it is very interesting.
Hmm.... I seem to be in a plot twisting mood lately. *winks*
This might be a bit difficult to understand. Its about a forest maiden, with a dark forest lord persuing her, after their long chase, she stops at a swamp, and he wraps his arms around her wait and they both fall in. He emerges, and his forest minions form two lines for him to pass through, to his dark throne, and the maiden does as well, except, her white dress is now green, brown and torn, and she is sinister in nature. They kiss, and he narrarated about his inrelenting desire to diminish innocence.
Other than perhaps the first paragraph, this is more of a storytelling piece, less for Middle English, and more towards a tale. It didn’t quite work out to my liking, I’m rather disappointed in it, yet here it lies. It’s about demons (Vimridh’s) (The name is an ancient god of some kind) that capture mortal slaves in forests, bind their hands, feet, and neck, and bring them to their own Lords. One particular girl is captured, but her captor ambushed, and with his spear, she escapes. After running for a great while, she stops at a vast swamp, cornered, and feels a drop of blood on her shoulder. Looking up into the mighty tree above her lies another large beast. She climbs the tree, and with the stolen spear kills it, finally, leaving her exhausted. She throws down the spear and jumps off a tree branch overlooking the murky swamp, but in doing so, hangs herself off the branch by the shackle around her neck. (Interrupted scream)
The legend of how a rift began between two nations, and how it caused one of the nations to be completely forgotten.... ~A Story from the Land of Fairrin~ Someone asked to hear the Auranian version of this story. Well, I have updated The Legend. It now has all 3 versions of how the rift between the 3 kingdoms began.
