This story introduces a new set of characters from a coastal village in a country to the far west of Lauralia. I call it my Louisa May Alcott story, because it's written very much in a 19th century style. Part two is in my Other Works section. (Don't ask me why this one qualifies as fantasy and part two doesn't...)
This is the first chapter of a larger story based in the city of Jek, following an aray of characters and their own stories and problems while a much larger problem that will effect all of the denizens of the city simmers underneath.
This is the first part of Chapter 2 of my fantasy novel, Abhorrent Practices.More to follow soon!
A bit old, but very cute and melikes. ^_^ It's kinda mushy though, so don't read if that's not your thing. :P I should illustrate in watercolours. Sigh. If I ever get any free time, that is....
And you thought books were your safe haven! Ha! How wrong you are... PS: if any of the observant people amongst you have noticed an unhealthy amount of ipod references this is purely accidental. They're really not that amazing.
The first chapter of a future novel. It gets more epic I promise. For all those who don't know their talents. Please comment!
This is the beginning of a story that I started a while back. It's a piece I'm going to try exploring further, since it's my first foray into fantasy. Not completely sure what it's about.
Feline wants to search the Silver Pass for Ivor, but is ambushed (again) by robbers. She is sold on the slave market, and is bought by the princess.
The story continues as Jared and his brothers take a trip to Watertown market, Jarred meets a powerful and dangerous man there.
Harald lost his memory, fell into a gap, and now travels from world to world, looking for what he has lost. This is chapter V and VI of the world beyond. Myrve the roadwatcher has send him to the market of Ilirilin to buy a bird. Will he escape from this crazy place and return? If you want to see the little fae Myriel sitting in Myrve's cave, look at this beautiful picture by Trina Daniel.
This is another history lesson for the world of Talsla that I am slowly building. Please let me know what you think of this world.
In a strange kind of way the stock market is a bit like a way to predict the future...
I recently went on a rampage editing and re-writing a whole lot of stuff I'd done when I was 15. I haven't finished mucking around with the latter half of this chapter but I thought I'd upload it anyway. The alternate opening for the same story is under 'Archdragon (Opening 1)' I much prefer the other one myself. This is just an edited version of the old opening as opposed to a completely new opening. Anyway, let me know what you think :-)
The times are peaceful, happy, and safe. For some.
This is an unusual story, a bit of a role reversal on the whole discriminating against people of non anglo-saxon descent. It was for a writing folio on banishment I had to do last year, but maybe I got a little carried away...also, please note once again the rotten food thing. I have this thing with rotting food. Gotta love those mouldy cabbages!
Whew! This chapter is long! It took me several days to write. Hopefully it won't take you that long to read it. I thought about condensing it but there are many important parts in it so i decided to leave it. Hope you don't get too confused by the problem with Anwen!
