More GCSE English coursework. The fantasy side may be a little tenuous, but people don't come back to life everyday... 03/07/2005
An introduction to one of the members of the Gemstone Council, Marigoth Kenspie, who seeks revenge upon those who, in her mind, have wronged her. In order to facilitate her revenge, she has turned to the dark art of necromancy.
Farrion is told his mentally disturbed cousin is coming to live with them, and he is not happy. Warning! Gay hints!
a short story i wrote about the coming of the dead... truly the dead can never be stopped, we kill all who try to stop us...
The wise girl Mephala, who already lives for thousands of years, is asked to do a spy mission for the prince at a guild of Black Mages. It's rumoured that they do terrible things to people...
The third installment in my apparently well-liked Gareth series. Read on, as the plot thickens... (scary music cue) :)
This is a short excerpt of my first book. It is the initial chapter for the three main storylines of the tale, and follows their paths as they begin to set out on the adventure locked inside the pages of a story. I have completed the full text, all 22 chapters, and I am seeking to get this published. The story itself is a slight shift from the typical fantasy fare, as events are taking place in the relatively young planet, in just its second age. This is the time of great adventures and powers that set the stage for the legends and mythos of the ages that will come behind it. I do intend to write for this place all the way through the end of the planet so look forward to seeing this world grow and the pains it will endure on that path.
Here's the final part of the story. Beleaf it or not Never Look Back is based on a greek myth. Some stories are realy timeless.
A sci fi/alternate reality story where an alien race has taken over lands on earth at the allowance of the superpowers so they wouldn't take the rest of earth. Future sections will switch between the tales of both sides and others involved..
a little bit of sureal stuff an irritated necromancer argues with Macavity, a very sleepy mystery cat and yes I was reading ts eliot's 'book of practical cats'
This story is actually neither modern nor horror, but a fun piece all in all. This chapter outlines my favorite character, J'Kal, and his brother, J'Tpa.
A story I began as a parallel to a good friend's of mine. He's squeemish about peeps taking his stuff, so ask me before you use the races.
This is an unfinished prologue to the comic strip or anime video, still unsure of what I'm going to do with it and what the title is going to be and still in production of it. Most likely going to be a comic strip. It's about AI attempting to exterminate humans on Earth and the humans escape to the moon to rebuild civilization. Some of the humans get left behind and build underground civilizations based upon old magical beliefs, some humans are mutated by a virus released by the AI, some humans escape to the moon and rely on technological advances to survive all the while encountering new alien races.
This little poem was done in a class I took. The class came up with a list of words or phrases of which we had to use in a poem. We had ten minutes to write as many lines of text as we could. The remained of the class was spent cutting them out and piecing them together to create something. This is what I ended up with. This practice is meant to tap into your subconcious apparently. Needless to say, mine scares me...Take what you will from it, and analyze it how you want. I am not sure exactly where this all came from, but as I started pulling it together, it reminded me of some sort of Frankenstien like poem. The scientist is creating a false body and summoning a creature to make it living. But that is just my interpretation ::shrug::.I also have another poem that used this technique called "Earthen Tears", check it out.
The will of a dark Roman King Mage by the name of Umbra'Cor DeRum Aterhex, the wish of havoc upon all that is and was, and a command to his clansmen - A command of destruction. Though a skilled poet, he is beyond even the worst of misanthropes. He is a necromantic mage who skills in the control of both the dead and living. But the 'Lamia', as he calls them - Vampire in Latin, he dispised beyond anything else.. For they are the undead - The one race of creature who he cannot control. The one race of creature which will mean his final demise.
An excerpt from The Darkness, a modern day horror where the gothic creatures still exist, and a lone group fights to maintain human's supremacy of their own lives.
This chapter is my chapter of doom; in other words, it's the one I simply cannot make amends with. I hate it. Nothing worked out right. And, naturally, it's probably the most important to the plot out of all the chapters I've written so far. Ah, and the cat's name changes from Gringot to Gotgrin in this chapter-- recent decision there, shall have to figure out whether or not to keep it. Thoughts?
This is the story of an Archmage who became a creature of darkness and death, and how he was able to create more of his kind.
The first law of the fanatic: the more obsessed we are with the enemy, the more like the enemy we become. This is going to be it for the flashbacks for a bit! I swear! We're getting back to the actual plot in the next part! I just had to eke out one little teeny extra bit of important info . . .
