Sun and Sword - Prologue

Jeremy Blackwood

This is the prologue to a (hopefully) novel-length work. It sets the historical stage for what follows

Child of the Heavens

Amanda Hoffman

The story of my savior and my light.

Shapeshifters - 4

Ben Brannan

The fourth chapter in my story. When we left off, Blade and Esani had been captured by some unknown being and left to rot in a jail cell. How will they get out... ? 2,826 words, 5 pages.

This Place

Nicolei Arnold

Innocence is not justice, and the price of assumption can sometimes cost more than you know.

The Shadows of Xavier

Nicolei Arnold

Most everyone believes that they are protected by a guardian angel, but it's different when it comes to this man. Xavier has six shadows that guard his life with tooth and nail.

The Star I Could Not Save

Christine Clarke

Well, at face value it's a poem about a star that begins careening helplessly to the Earth. Yes, the star has been personified and thus can talk, feel, et cetera.

The Saviour - Prologue

Andi Abadi

This is a story of Arrax, a man who lives in the loneliest edge of a kingdom who founds that life and fate has something up in the sleeves for him.

Dreams Drowned in Sand

Leigh Erickson

This idea just pounced on me late one night and wouldn't let me go, so I had to write it down. Can't say much without giving things away... so go *shoos* read! For Eli for all her editing help *bows* I am most grateful!!

Small Pardon

Elizabeth Kretzschmar

Written after I finished up one of my semester exams. ^.^ Feeling guilty about not posting lately so I typed it up and... voilaaaa. Still scrounging for a better name, this one is just temp.

Prelude/Chapter One

Orin Gaskins

Hey you guys here is the prelude that I promised. The real chapter one comes after the prelude and it is separated by a bunch of these little thingies~~~~but anyway, Taron, the knight does his master's bidding by saving the children. The background: Dran is the oldest followed by the unnamed child, followed by the twins Zeke and Mira

Hunter of the Winged

Chris Uber

This is part one of the prologue to a book I'm working on. Hope you enjoy it. All comments/suggestions appreciated.

Darkening Nightmare

Nicolei Arnold

This is a poem. The storyline is meant to be spoken calmly. And the action line (Starting with 'I') is meant to be read contradicting to the line.

Lunar: Ch 1 First Moon

Roku Yuusei

Werewolf story. First chapter. I had confusion from readers about social worker call part. Nathaniel has been moved foster home to foster home. He feels that his new 'development' will make Diana want rid of him again.

Shapeshifters - 3

Ben Brannan

Until now I've completely ignored the requests for more Shapeshifters. But finally I have decided to put up what I have... I won't pretend I remember this story, and I won't pretend I'll write more. I doubt I will, but one can always hope. 2,588 words, 5 pages.

Colin Shaw

Two worlds slated for destruction - can they be saved?

Defeating Darkness

Rachel Karp

This one is rather strange. I wrote it to be taken as a rather literal story, but take your own meaning from it. Actually, one of my friends found it to symbolize the American army... Have fun.

Asmara's Bane - Chap. 11

Anna Ångel oƒ †he Ab¥ss ) Zorawski

Shape Shifters - 1 & 2

Ben Brannan

Meh... it doesn't have a title and was written in my younger years (namely, about two years ago.) It is currently over 50 pages, and includes the beginning of the adventures Blade and Esani (a dragon girl) who are dragged into saving the world. Think it's just another 'save the world' type of story? Think again. No one would think these two would be saviors. 2 Chapters are included of this novel, though it's doubtful I'll get past chapter... 8 I think I'm on... I haven't added to it for god knows how long. 6,873 words. 12 pages.

dragon chapter one

charlie wilkinson

this is a story that i started a little while back and its a bit self explanatry so here you are...

Light's Sacrifice

Leigh Erickson

Things you need to know before reading this... 1) it is about the Maiel who will fade (very painful death) when exposed to the true or pure dark 2) the father is cursed by a band around his arm that would fade him if he removed it and faded his arm as part of the curse 3)Leigh + boredom = bad poetry... this is not my best *nods*
