This story was inspired by U2's 'October,' the lyrics to which can be found at the end of the story. It gave me the idea of personifying seasons as people, October being the first I tackled. I want to write more, but I'm having trouble coming up with other plotlines. *sigh* I'll think of something eventually.
This is the new version of my story 'Winter's Awake' and in my eyes it is a lot better. It tells of a story of how Winter (the season) is shunned by the world when it comes. In the end though, tears only create a beauty…A beauty between two…
A somewhat sad/nostalgic poem about what might happen if Spring and Autumn were to be personified into lovers...
The first Season. Concerning Kaindra, and her return home in triumph. Before Raytio.
Something I wrote on a boring Saturday, leafing through pictures and sighing in lonely discontent. You know those days.
Well here's chapter 2 (its in 2 parts cos its too long otherwise, trying to encourage people to read all of it). There's a couple of sub-stories that I'm having issues with (namely Jalithe's whole story) so if it seems a little disjointed in parts, this will be why. Any suggestions are as always, greatly apprieceted.
Of the mulish king of the woods and the blossoming of spring...
A poem about the seasons and death. Inspired by an evening of Finnish Folk tales and music. Dedicated to my grandmother, Enid Jones.
Wow the gremlins in my head must have been wearing fairy wings latley! It's so strange for me to be writing happy little fairy stories! Oh well, enjoy and plz comment!
So. This is for Brandi^_^ because she is a wonderful person and wrote me a double sestina and a regular one, and so i thought i'd writer her a double... and because she loves Morn, who is the speaker in italics. This is my first stab at a double sestina, partially to try to break a block, but yeah... it's about Natham who is Autumn and his Keeper, Morn- sort of a guard. Heh...^_~
Some things never change, but some do. In times of peace or war, with strength or without, a cycle continues always in time.
This is the prolouge of what will hopefully become a full story over time, in which the main character is born in contreversial times and her faery parents fight about what to do with her.
It's not what I envisioned when started writing, but the personification worked out okay.
I got the idea for this from an old nature myth. It will probably be reformed later into something that rhymes, but dont hold your breath...
This is inspired by some of the Pagan mythos about the changing of the seasons.
