This is the prologue to a story idea i've been playing around with- It's a what if story-What if vampires existed-ruled the earth-and could withstand daylight? What if humans were only slaves and food? In my prologue i introduce the two main characters of the story, Reigne and Hannah.
Fun story entailing three youths enslaved to a House - a cross between a castle and a palace, belonging to a powerful and old family. All spells in Patterns of Liesa are untranslatable spells :)
At the peek of his reign over the galaxy, Lord Tarsik is met with an unpleasant surprise when a new slave girl is brought to him.
The main characters are the three girls called Soul, Mercy, Hope. This is truly one of my favorite.
Niell finds himself completely alone, even amongst the other slaves as his dreams become steadily worse. It introduces a bit more of the White Hands, their beliefs, goals, etc. as well as a little more of Niell’s character as he is effectively tortured. Updated: December 19. I recently went over most of what I’d written and this is what resulted.
Clara meets Serena (Big Red) the swordswoman, and a close friend of the Enchanter's circle.
Just a little poem I created when I was bored about an angel in slavery.
The fourth story of Ember. I would call this story questionable as to its content. However, it's much more mild than it could have been. The events in this story was never originally intended to be part of Ember's character background, but.. I got a little carried away while I was roleplaying her and so it became welded into her history. (As usual, read the previous stories before this one.) The sudden change of viewpoint might throw you for a loop, but hang on and you'll find it much more compelling than the previous ones.
The Queen and the governors of Venya's Kingdom are deliberating what to do with the Purrlin (Cat - Human) slave population. There is fear that the Purrlin may attempt to overthrow the government, but all Rayne is concerned about are the rumors that she will be forced to marry young Lord Fallon.
In a society whose function depends upon people willingly submitting themselves to a secret slavery, where the needs of the person are lost in the desires of the society, what happens to those who question the system... to those who doubt?
Now, I know this looks very long, but even if you don't read the entire thing, I'd appreciate some comments. This the first chapter of a new idea I've had for a novel, and I'd really like to know what people think. I've got put up a hasty map, but it still incomplete in some places. So please leave some comments and tell me where to imrove. The idea for the story is basically like a medieval version of the Cold War, where two huge empires are engaged in a struggle for world domination, but both fear what will happen if they ever come to open war. So their battles are fought with pawns and innocents are caught in between.
A title in progress, this short story is sci fi. From digging up computer chips out of the ground, to perpetual darkness with a strange beam chasing after you, to crawling out from under a mountain. The story is about two kids that want nothing more than to escape from thier life in bondage.
The first part of a large story about a race of intelligent creatures cruelly oppressed and enslaved by their human conquerers.
An alternate history of a fictional future in which, after a nuclear holocaust, society becomes dominated by a corrupt parody of the Catholic Church.
The first chapter of the story that started in The Prophecy. We see how the Grnaiilians treat their former masters.
A squire embarks on his journey to be a knight. Just he finds out he gets the 'odd' knight. But little does he know that this is a good thing.
Chapter 1 - Kelith Barr, an oppressed slave, fights for his freedom, but there is only one way out.
