This is the second chapter of my Battle school story. I've choosen not to switch characters around anymore, the ones you saw before are the ones you get now.
Who wants a character list? It's 114 names, but probably only about...75 are in the story right now. If I get enough people asking for it, I'll pop it up on my website somewhere, with a complimentary link. Anywho, this is just more travelling fun and whatnot. Some interesting stuff, but most of it's just giving me something to do next chapter. Lots of building in this chapter, not a whole lot of intense stuff, but you do get the chance to meet Epperron and Sur'da'dun. Aracil and Palua are coming...soon, I hope, and Hasharia...well, that you have to wait for until book (yes, BOOK) 5. Wish me luck! Uploaded: 12/11/05
This is the end of this particular saga. This is part of a larger work, by the way, so look for more eventually.
This is a story I wrote awhile ago, one of the few I ever finished.
Alright, guys, it's finally here! All bright and shiny and new. I finally did a map for it. Anyways, I came off a 3 month dry-spell a couple weeks ago, and this was written in about 5 nights. It's about 7-8 hours of actual typing, and probably about 2 more of thinking while I couldn't sleep at night/was bored in class. Sooooo, see the other 2 for more info, and I hope you like it!v (Woot! They all have teachers! And...all but one have familiars! And...most of them are going where they're going to train! I feel special!!!) Update, 12/28/03: Yea, it's not quite so brand spanking new anymore, but it's all shiny and edited and such!
This is the first half of chapter one. Enjoy.
I hope the ending does not seemed rushed, I was excited to be finishing it and eager to move on to what comes next. This chapter will hopefully serve to give you more background information on Desana and in particular her homelife as a child. She may seem mildly irrational (or comical?) at times, but believe me, once Desana gets an idea into her head, it's hard to shake. You might get inklings as to what is going to happen to her in the future, but hey, I know the whole story so what can I say?
Sagittia Barmishlawn, or just Sagi depending on how well you know her, is not your average medievel maiden. In fact she's far from those damsels in distress that you read about in other stories. She's many things but a princess or even a country girl is not one of them, despite the fact she may have started out like one. Okay so Sagittia started out as Sagittialaree Annyah Deenoca a quiet, simple country girl. I'd say that doesn't matter as much as what she turned out to be but it does. For what makes our present is our past and when those two combine we find our future... So this is Sagittia's past.
This is the main story about the Unicorns of Lusture. It follows a young warrior mare through her growing up to be a mighty warrior. The original title was 'Bring on the Rain'.
Nick and Mark go through a little magic training. everything that goes on in this chapter is not really something you have to remember, but it might be useful later. ;) sorry, this might get a little confusing. i'm trying not to add too much stuff but it's all needed. *groans* i'm starting to confuse myself now. don't mind me. oh, if anything is in -these things- that usually means someone is talking to someone else with their mind.
A young dwarf learns what it means to grow up, and he that skill with a sword is not all that is required of a warrior
And yet another from a roleplaying character. This story of Ceddhwyan (for those who don't know the old brit phonics, it's Keth-hwi-on) was inspired by Stephen Lawhead. If you've read his stuff, some aspects might seem similar. But if you've ever wanted to read some else's diary, here's your chance!
Wolf Fate: The hope of the Other World, who alone has the power to stop his own father and putting right a world that went completely wrong. He never expected he was speciel, but then the Manipulator Jack Blade shows up at cozy home and tells him differently. He says he can manipulate anything, and that he was to be trained to destroy evil in the Other World. Wolf has a big decision to make: Does he go and be trained as a Manipulator, or does he stay with his brother and grandmother?
"Only blood can kill blood." Wolf and Blade travel to the Other World to meet with Griff Harold, who confirms Wolf as the most powerful Manipulator he has ever seen. Blade names Wolf "Apprentice Manipulator", and a connection is formed between Wolf and his gryphon.
A young girl is takeing her brother to another town where he will recieve weapons training. Their guide is almost non-existent in the prolog. This story is also © Heather N. Nicholson.
12/11/2004 was when this was written. Anyways, I when I reread this, I believe I regressed a little in quality. Its alright, but not good enough. These days, its non- canon, especially since these characters no longer exist in my universe. Also, like I did when I was uploading these older pieces, I added some character descriptions, but made a better attempt to work them in more smoothly than the ones before this. Personally, I can do far better now.
With Angels and Daemons running wild, Is there time for a normal life? It's a problem the kids will solve with a mixture of attitude and charm.
The Liberators decide to bust Jonathan out of jail, but could it possibly be THAT easy? ...Maybe.
My dad wanted to see some of my recreational writing, just to see what I can do, so I scrawled this out, and decided to post it. What you have to understand is the soldier on the ground has a clip dispenser thing on his belt like Lara Croft did in the first Tomb Raider movie.
