The traveler faces a disturbing creature, and the darker side of people.
The traveler joins a ragged band of survivors in an old manor, surrounded by humanoid cannibals.
From the south deserts of Durnon to the northern peaks of the Lonelands stetches a long ribbon of golden road known as the Highroad. This recounts one traveler's tale as he ventures the whole length of this reknowned causeway.
This is one of what I call minotaur poetry. This just means that all deal with the minotaur -- as a symbol, as a people, and as my own personal reflection. Note the 'I' is as in 'me, myself, and I', not as in Minotaur, one.
This short story is a Dialogue, and should be read as such. It is part of a larger story I am writing, but have no fear, it was made to be read by itself. It is my furturistic vision of consciousness, love and sex. It is also a representation of how I feel about my husband.
Ok...this is a later revision of the prologue, closer to the final result than the previous one. Lost count of how many times I've gone back to this...I think it's the 6th or 7th draft *sweatdrop*. But it does keep getting better. The whole work is still in progress...
The second tale of the traveler, where he works through what obligations are thrust upon him.
Just a short story I made up, if ya think I should make more of it, leave me a comment or two :)
4/05/06 Updated! I have effectively re-written a good portion of this, and the next chapter is officially in the works--yay for progress! Vast improvement, is all I can say-- She's a kind of vampiric character whose story and personality I've played around with for a long time.
For those on the road with no companions but the night and the wind, a charm to keep you safe. Another oldie, fixed some of the rhythm in accordance to some suggestion, fixed some rhyme schemes, and I think it's as near perfection as it'll ever be. (2006)
This piece was inspired by a sculpture of the heart (as described below). When I saw it I was entranced by the wild imagination of the artist. This bit of writing certainly doesn't do it justice, but I hope you'll appreciate it nonetheless. Please leave comments and criticism!
A bit of inspiration for another piece of writing..
well...this is the beginning of one of my bite-off-more-than-you-can-chew stories...about 1/6 of it was deleted during a system crash a while back :(
A man wanders, yet trouble always finds him. The first of a series of shorts.
Another blurb from The Phoenix Cycle. Finally, meet Cale, one of my two main character. Neither of which had made an appearence until now. Not really that great, but some character insight.
