Ch. 1

C. Corbin

Oh yeah. First chapter in my still unnamed story, I would recommend reading its prologue before you read this or it won't make much sense... Anyway, I'm proud of myself for finishing this... Truthfully, I have no idea were the story will go after this. Any suggestions for what should happen next are certainly welcome!

A Fairy Tale of New York - Part 4

Sean Daily

My first story from my new roleplaying system! I call it Witchgun, and it's set in New York City in 1936, in an alternate timeline where vampire bats (called chiroptim) and humans have evolved side by side. It's partly a reaction to modern depictions of vampires, which are ultra-hip, ultra-stylish, ultra-powerful and ultra-amoral. Characters like that just stick in my craw. I wanted vampires that had real problems - family, jobs, paying the bills, raising the kids, enduring prejudice - and who weren't immortal and who weren't all powerful. This is the fight in the Benthic Hall. Ack! I can't stand the suspense!

Sebastian and Jacob are joined by two allies. One makes a big impression - in the Benthic Hall. The other leaves our heroes nonplussed.

Will Jacob, Sebastian, Sehora and Hiller survive the Battle of Benthic Hall! I can't take it! Read on, quick!

Futures Past Ch. 8&9

Michelle Lackey

So, now we enter the realm of what actually happened and just how out of balance Turbo really is. This deals with some explanation, but I rather like the fight. So far, Elyria doesn't seem really all that bright. Oh, and the world doesn't really revolve around Turbo... just so you know. Read on.

SHIFTERS: The Immortal Diaries-ch3

Brian Pennington

...chapter three....

The Eyes of a Unicorn

Imelda Weijers

I was browsing the Elfwood Galleries when I came across a beautiful image by Marie E. Bird. It inspired me to write this poem. I'd like to thank her for creating this inspiring image and giving me permission to use it. Please take some time to visit her gallery (click here).

The Aranoxx Chronicles

L. Hanson

A very new venture for me, sci-fi set in a parallel universe.

It's Just the Beginning

Mindy Michaud

This is the very first story of the Eiren Series. It covers the creation mythology for our solar system. This is based on how I think it happened.

Heart of Darkness

Michael Juli

A bitter immortal watching the universe live around him.

Hymn to the Universe

Daniel (Lunar Raven)

This is another poem, about this group of futuristic elves (I've recently named them chaziir) that are so technologically advanced that they are seperate from reality

The Creation of the Universe

M. (Mharaaki)

A long time ago, I took it upon myself to write up the creation of the universe... And of course, being me, I completely fecked it up with the four Empowered Powdered Demons Who Got High, also known as-- The Powers That Be! Gods, this story was fun to write. It was originally for school, but mum took one look at it and burnt it. Or something. n.n As you might have already deduced, it was written during a short-lived obsession with the song 'Because I Got High' by Afroman, or however it's spelt.

Only a Mortal

Shuo Chen

Follows after the fashion of Empyreal Light and Fanged Kiss. It's shorter though.

A Hero's Fire: Prologue

Shannon Sconce

A once peaceful planet ruled by an evil spiritual force, a slave race wants their freedom and there is only one way to take back the planet that was rightfully theirs...to follow one man on his quest to become one with a secret flame that burns within his very soul and gives him the power to fight the darkness! (Very sci-fi :-))

The Tears that Redeem: Prologue

Jamie Brewer

Ok...this is a later revision of the prologue, closer to the final result than the previous one. Lost count of how many times I've gone back to this...I think it's the 6th or 7th draft *sweatdrop*. But it does keep getting better. The whole work is still in progress...

Bright shining stars...

Monica Figgé Jensen

A poem about a sad little lone dragon, but then something happends...I think this would be better as a story and I plan to do it as a story sometime.

Coffee and Paperclips

Cameron Baker

Very similar to Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy but I hope you enjoy it!

Off Center

David Daumit

A wry, sci-fi vignette.

Rising Force 3

David Lewandowski

The conclusion of the 'Rising Force' series.

Creator & Creations, Part 1

Jake Beasley

I meet my characters. Every single one of them, ranging from a two-headed serpent to the well-known Phoenix and Aura. But they need my help. After all, I am their Creator.
