50thC Part 1

Ben Ward

This is my main project. About the world in the 50th Centruary. In this future world magic, fairies, aliens, preternatural creatures, they all exist. The story follows Amber, the daughter of a fairy and human, and Cruor, a very powerful and very smart teenage sorcerer and how their lives dramatically change when they are forced together by 'chance'. It is a working progress and the whole of the story is not yet complete but parts one to three form the first 'section' of the story. If you find any bad mistakes or some things do not make sense then I will try to rectify them.

Prologue

Dawn Jansen

This is a possible prologue to my book. I am still not completely satisfied with it and I am open to suggestions. I'm one little insecure writer. Thanks for your feedback

Daugther of Evil

Kristy Sjostrom

The inspiration for this story came from the cover art of my dad's Black Sabbath album. It is a rather strange story, and I suggest if you are a chicken lover you read no further.

Do You See What I See?

Pamela Lehmann

Alitzia has been 'gifted' with foresight. But not just any foresight; she can only see pain, suffering, death. But she tries to help people. But by the time they believe her, they are already dead. And then the witchhunter comes. Witchcraft is against the law. And Alitzia sees visions. She must be a witch. And witches are burned. Warning: This story is not recomended for younger readers.

A Fairy Tale of New York - Part 4

Sean Daily

My first story from my new roleplaying system! I call it Witchgun, and it's set in New York City in 1936, in an alternate timeline where vampire bats (called chiroptim) and humans have evolved side by side. It's partly a reaction to modern depictions of vampires, which are ultra-hip, ultra-stylish, ultra-powerful and ultra-amoral. Characters like that just stick in my craw. I wanted vampires that had real problems - family, jobs, paying the bills, raising the kids, enduring prejudice - and who weren't immortal and who weren't all powerful. This is the fight in the Benthic Hall. Ack! I can't stand the suspense!

I wanted vampires that had real problems - family, jobs, paying the bills, raising the kids, enduring prejudice - and who weren't immortal and who weren't all powerful. Sebastian and Jacob are joined by two allies. One makes a big impression - in the Benthic Hall. The other leaves our heroes nonplussed.
