Yay! Almost at twenty! Which means- almost done! Probably only about eight chapters left. So yeah, before you read on, this ones a bit more violent/gory than my other chapters. Nothing too bad, not to worry, but since this is elfwood and all.... So, I hope you like the chapter!
Walking through the rain one destined day, Ronin comes upon startling discoveries. Whispers in the wet streets of the mysterious city of Windrow brings a new meaning to 'Are you afraid of the dark?'
A friend from ElfTown (Cathook) drew a picture of a mermaid attached to a shps hull. After weeks of talking about it, she challenged me to write the story of how it came to be. Well, here it is. (The story changed a little from her original, but she sounded happy with the changes. THANKS CATHOOK!) http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/c/a/cathook/mermaidc.jpg.html
In search of his sister, Star learns the Legend of Felindoria, the place where all cats originated, a story most special to black cats.
This little number is one I wrote for my writing class at school--my vamp story was so well received that I was *forced* to do another installment. And here it is. As I was doing research on the Wiccans and Druids, I couldn't really find much on their history. So, naturally, I had to do alot of improvising. I wanted to shed good light on the witches/mystics for once, and help put them into context with the vampyre story. In our comic, it all fits together, they're all part of one world, vying for power or balance of it. I'm still *kinda* editing this one, but I'll see how you like it before I do anything drastic. ^_^
Candace and Eric grow closer. Meanwhile, Leila, the vampire, longs for a mate.
Joanne gives Candace a love pouch, hoping it will give her confidence to talk to Eric.
Yes, yes, I know it's not finished. I'll work on it later in the year. Which gives me some time. Not. I'll tell you when I update it, but first I'm attempting to figure out what happens next! Basically it's about a guy trying to find his wife in a strange world, and some very odd things are happening.
This is a story that covers a bit of the past of one of the characters that I play online. It's reccomended that you read 'Julianna' first.
It’s a hi-tech future and a big disaster happens, exposing numerous individuals (though a small percentage of the population) to a chemical that alters brain function to a degree that they attain supernatural powers. When these powers become apparent, those who possess them are branded as witches, and a fear of them spreads throughout society like wildfire. Dawn is a young high school student whose liberal views regarding the witches are bound to get her in trouble. Little does she know that she will soon be an exile in her own land, hiding out when she’s not on the run. But she is not alone…
This is the fictional 'autobiography' of my online character, the Olympian Hermes. It is far from being polished....in fact, I think I'll take out the first person aspect eventually, but for now I'm using that as a springboard to complete the story. I try to think what it would be like for me to be in these situations and how I would react to them to make the character a bit realistic. Although I think the realism of the story is a moot point considering the topic. I hope you enjoy it and let me know if you do or not. Any kind of feedback is appreciated.
This is the most unrefined part of the story. I have a LOT of work to do on it, but I wanted to put this section up to see if you all thought it might be a good direction to lead the story in. Let me know what you think about it. This is the beginning of the REAL story, where Hermes starts to find out about his true origins and what it might mean....
This story is part of James K. Bowers' Project 7 (or 7.5) since I wrote it well past the given deadline. Even so, I was still inspired by his 'seed' story and added to it in my own fashion. With that generic intro out of the way, I will say lastly that this story is set in The Undermoon, a political world of warring factions of mythical creatures held together by the neutral policing force of the Undermoon and its agents. Also... continue reading Behind the Glass to find out more of the story...
What if, under the streets of present-day London, below the tube lines there existed Elf-fairies? What if the Elf-fairies lived peacefully underground, in towns and villages unaware that vampires were about to attack them for their blood? And a Guardian, entrusted with the task of protecting the Elf-fairies, along with a rogue witch uncover the plan and risk everything to save them? What if an old trader finds a map promising incredible treasure but needs the help of the vampires, the witch and the Elf-fairies to unravel its mysteries? And what if, five young Elf-fairies find themselves caught up in the battle, unaware that all they know and value will be taken from them; setting them on an adventure they will never forget? This is the story of the Elf-Fairies, and the Lost map of the Underground.
Three young witches go on a quest. This is the first chapter of what eventually will be a novel.
