Beyond Ragnarok (P3)

Yet a further continuation in the crusade of the gunfighter, Drake. He'd met up with Sten Ivories, a mercenary like himself, and asked for assistance. Now they must do battle with soldiers of unknown origin and influence.

A Fairy Tale of New York - Part 4

Sean Daily

My first story from my new roleplaying system! I call it Witchgun, and it's set in New York City in 1936, in an alternate timeline where vampire bats (called chiroptim) and humans have evolved side by side. It's partly a reaction to modern depictions of vampires, which are ultra-hip, ultra-stylish, ultra-powerful and ultra-amoral. Characters like that just stick in my craw. I wanted vampires that had real problems - family, jobs, paying the bills, raising the kids, enduring prejudice - and who weren't immortal and who weren't all powerful. This is the fight in the Benthic Hall. Ack! I can't stand the suspense!

Sebastian and Jacob are joined by two allies. One makes a big impression - in the Benthic Hall. The other leaves our heroes nonplussed.

Brother of Rat

Sean Daily

One of the most popular bar songs in Tayassam, a chiroptim ghetto in New York City and the scene of my upcoming roleplaying system. It's like 'A Fairy Tale of New York' to chiroptim. Imagine the guys singing one chorus, then the ladies, then everyone all together in the final chorus.

Will Jacob, Sebastian, Sehora and Hiller survive the Battle of Benthic Hall! I can't take it! Read on, quick!

Winds of Change

Alura Raetz

This is an urban fantasy story that's been floating around my head for a while now. I've finally written some of it down. I felt like putting it up. Tell me how you like it.

Tale of 2 Kitties (part 3)

H. Rummel

after some incouragement, I devoted two study halls to the next chapter of the kitty story. (The dogs will be back in the next one!)

Tempest's Lesson

Vicki Leady

I can't really pinpont the inspiration to this story. I just love the whole 'fish out of water' concept, I guess. It's so much fun to work with. The father of an unruly goddess sends her to a place where the gods no longer rule to teach her to truly appreciate her subjects.

Breakdown Plus Twenty-Three

Roehl Sybing

I needed inspiration to get me over this writer's block. Recent events ::tilting head to television:: gave me the very inspiration I needed. This is part one of...whatever. Right now, I'm poised to continue the story, but of course feedback is most sincerely desired. Please! :)

'Glyneth Argonis, Vampire Hunter' Chapter One

Danielle R. Marciniak

Vampire Hunter Glyneth Argonis worked solo for all of his life, but its time he consulted the best Vampire Hunting Agency to help stop the Clan Leader Glisglaros, a Vampire with more than a thirst for blood.... but this is only the tip of the iceberg...

Beyond Ragnarok (P2)

Daniel Lix

Drake, a gunfighter in a post nuclear world, has accepted a mission to locate a farmer named Richard Hill, who'd been abducted by one of the local crime families living in New York. In times of trouble, we turn to our friends. Drake's no exception.

A Brave New World?

David Van der Linden

Well this is just the first chapter, I'm just basicly trying to introduce the characters and set the scene. We're in the future, I haven't chosen a year yet, and these four young people are in for one heck of a time.

Dark Backlash/Dawn of Chaos

Bart Meijer

First part of a trilogy I haven´t ended yet. I was trying to create a certain apocalyptic feeling in which I nearly succeeded in part 3 (which I´m still writing).

The title, of course, is from the Pogues song of the same name, which is of course from the J.P. Donleavy novel of the same name. This song was a favorite of one of my friends, and you'll see how appropriate it is as you read.

Chapter 3

J. Hillman

The Worldgate

Mandi Huffman

Another 8th grade piece. I honestly thought this was the best in my gallery...well, the Moderators proved me wrong! :) I know it's long, but if you read it...please, please leave a comment!!!

The Right Diet

Christoph Seifert

A man meets a woman in a bar - the usual story?

Bloodmoon Over NY 1

Matthew Tucker

The first episode of the Bloodmoon Over New York Series, a vampire story taking place in Modern New York: Trelane Morrow begins to tell the tale that will take you across the barriers of our reality into a world of hidden evil.

Tale of 2 Kitties (part 4)

H. Rummel

okay, more explaining going on, and after reading the last one, it was a little confusing! This one explains more! Enjoy! Only one more chapter to go!
