Jacy (the moon) and Guaracy (the sun)

Brazillian indians called the moon Jacy and the sun Guaracy. In the legend, they where lovers, but when they got together there wheren't time, because there wheren't day or night. So the Tupi supreme god called Tupa, had apparted one to the other and so he and she must to run around the sky looking for the other. So the indians belived when there was an eclipse, the time stopped from a moment because Jacy and Guaracy got together
