Currency comes in two forms. Raw materials such as metals, hides, wood, and stone; and ancient magical artifacts. Carra Blackbolt accepts both. At the age of nineteen she left her wealthy merchant family, bored of trade and family life, and established herself as a questeer-people who, as opposed to a mercenary who is hired to fight a war, are those who are contracted to recover certain artifacts, scout regions, and complete numerous other tasks deemed too dangerous to do by the contractors. Her impish demeanor contrasts with her axe Halfang, which, unlike the giggling, condescending confidence of imps, makes no illusions of its intended purpose. This piece is another one of those I drew when trying out new perspectives to get the most of 9x12 paper. It doesn't have as much detail as I'd like in some spots, but the results are interesting, to say the least.
