"Now, hold still, this will only take a second," the photographer says after positioning the young elf princess just where he wants her in front of the canvas. He rushes back to the camera, holds up the flash, and takes the picture. He lifts his head to see the princess looking not at him, but at the small butterfly perched on her nose, and realizes that the picture he took would be that one. He puts his head in his hands. "Oh no! The King will kill me if the picture doesn't come out right!" A gentle hand is laid on his shoulder, and he looks up to see the King beside him. "If the picture you took is of her and that butterfly, I will be just as happy as if it were perfection." They both look to see the butterfly floating away, the princess watching dreamily as it disappeared into the forest. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Painted completely in Photoshop. The butterfly was an "oops", but looked so perfect, that I left it.
