They thought they could tell her what to do, they really did. The thought made her laugh as she felt the wind rush past her face. Rretha's booming roar answered her laugh. They could tell her whatever they wanted to, but not one of them had been able to stop her when she'd walked out of the banquet. None had stopped her from running into the caverns, jumping onto Rretha's neck, and flying out of there. And none would stop them now. The keep was miles behind them, vanished into the soft blur of the horizon, and they were headed for their own place now.
