Though I'm an illustrator at heart (in other words, like making pictures of other people's creations) I felt like making my own character from a book that, knowing me, will never see the light of day. This is Anthony. Up till the age of 12, he had a relatively normal childhood. He went to school, helped his mother at the farm at his home in Athens. But when he reached 13 something changed. He started to change things. Little things, like water turning into wine, and rocks into bread. Then more incredible things, like folding the tide and sinking islands. Though his feats were incredible not unlike a god, his mind was not coping well. Too many years of strange thoughts and crazed nightmares turned him mad. He tore his hair out, down to his skull. He ripped his eyes from their sockets, but being something more than human, they fused themselves into the palms of his hands. Like the Gods of Olympus, he started life as a lowly human, and over time he chose a domain. There were other gods. Gods not recorded in mythological textbooks, absent from the word of mouth, never celebrated in temples. He became one of the Other Gods, and his domain was the realm of insanity.
